6:38. Starter motor has not enough power to engage. Don't continue, the tooth on the flywheel will damage.
Probably the Wehrle regler (?), and the diodeblock must be checked also. As well as all wires connections in the charging system.

Yes I checked al the wiring and regulator. But in this case it was the battery, because it was not completely full when I left and it need replacing.

3 km isn't that bad, i pushed my Shadow over 5km in hot summer day once. Only because vent hole in gas tank cap was clogged :D It was my first bike and i didnt know much about it yet, great times. Nice Guzzi BTW, she's a real beauty

Thanks, she's not in a mint condition, but I like her looks. She's parked in the living room for the winter.
Pushing a bike is a warm exercise 😅

I read somewhere and have found it to be true that 90 percent of electrical problems are found to be fuel related. And vice versa.

😁 Riding an oldtimer brings old times back. It was normal in the 70's that the machine had its own will. Probably a wire rattled off..

That's what I thought, too. But yesterday I found it was the petroltap that did not work on reserve. And the voltage of the battery was low. This as standing still for the last 5 years. It was leaking oil out of the gearbox and reardrive.
That I fixed, but it still needs some attention, that's the fun of an old timer for me 😊
