Alistair McGowan always seems like a really nice bloke to me - his impressions are brilliant but never malicious or hurtful - he takes the characters and builds scenarios around them and that's where the comedy comes from - the amusing situations he puts the characters into. It's a shame we don't see so much of him nowadays!
Yes, I thought his John Parrot was exceptional, Ken Doherty was alright, thought his Terry Griffiths was nothing like him, not welsh enough. Have to laugh at Ken Doherty in real life when he says the turd ball from the end or the pinks toid up, or such and such a ball is toit on the cushion in his irish accent lol!
