I agree with you 100%. I bought the gold color. Way more comfortable, looks nice, and I don't have to worry about damaging it or taking the watch off before swimming. I love it.
That's a really nice G-Shock, I like the plain bezel, it makes it capable of being a dress watch as well as a sport/casual watch, it would look incredible on the G-Shock Composite Bracelet which is more like a traditional watch bracelet but it is made with composite links made from stainless steel and resin and they are really comfortable, the retail is around £120 but you can get a genuine one for around £60 from discounters and non OEM ones for around £20-30.

I honestly don’t understand why a regular square wouldn’t fit an adult male.
I agree on a lot of G’s being huge, but the standard square absolutely isn’t .
Correction, this is not made of steel, it’s a resin case with a stainless steel bezel.
I would buy that in matte black so fast!
A brushed finish & a smaller strap (am I right in thinking it's too long & there's too much excess to get caught on things) 🤔.
That being said, it's still a great watch.

I think that watch is marketed for femals, because of that men don´t find it. But it looks good on your wrist
THE ONLY dress watch G-Shock is great. Legibility is far from good, and it must be protected from scratches to maintain its neat appearance. BUT it looks great, is a true G-Shock and looks best with its own black strap. I like mine! 🙂
hard to read watches seems a bit of a design oversight😢
I just skip Gshocks altogether in terms of comfort opting more for the standard casio models like w800 or WS-1600H. I ran a farm and now landscape garden wearing a w800h on a nylon strap and i've seen that watch take massive knocks and it's still fine.

You just solved my problem. I ended up with a G shock Rangeman today. Had it for about 12 hours now..and I pretty much want to toss it out. I've only sen bulky g-shocks so i thought this is how the are all supposed to look.
Now I realize this shit is just too huge. Its fucking ugly, hurts my wrist bone (one that pops out on the pinky side..and for such a BIG ass watch the display and the digits are tiny.
Its the Casio branding that have people buying these watches.
Display is smaller, and not all that good for contrast.
As someone with not great eyesight I do not rate that highly at all.
Bought a new GShock with the MIP negative display - much better than my old Casio negative display

With Casios, especially the Digital ones, the cluttered Text aren't aestheticly pleasing to me. This GShock on the other hand, ticks the right boxes. Glad you like it too.
I would definitely go for this G shock. I know what you mean regarding a brushed case being preferable, but I think the polished finish goes well with the smooth black resin strap. It looks like the kind of watch a space shuttle pilot would have worn! I know negative screens aren't the most legible but they do look cool and that backlight is really good. @@TopTierTicker I have the same watch but you can actually scotchbrite yourself for a brushed steel finish. Looks so much better and eliminates scratches or finger smudges. There's a video on youtube on how to do it by GFWatch.
I bought it in black, fits perfectly on my 16cm wrist, it is light, perfectly visible, and mine has brushed metal. Keeper!

i bought it after i saw your insta. i think it is perfect gshock. very thanks to you. i luv casio f91 and i also wanted gshock. i think its mixed of these watches. and its sso shiny. i dont want wear my mechanical watches while skiing or camping. i think its perfect for outdoor activities too. i mean thank you again :D
