Rose Quartz and Emerald Style Nail Art

- Hi everyone
Today I’m going to show you how to do a Rose Quartz and an Emerald design.
I’d prefer to use the nude collection but given that I haven’t brought it back from the studio I’m going to mix a more pigmented pink with blooming gel to create a transparent pink to paint on the nail. For the second layer I’m going to paint the pink on and then drag some Snow White through the wet paint before curing. I’m going to repeat this step until I’m happy. I’ll then top coat and outline with Pink Fairy Wings and top coat again to seal that in.
For the Emerald, I’m going to use the same technique but with two greens and white to get the colour I want. I’m going to Top Coat and buff this nail cos it’s a but lumpy, and I’ll use Champagne Bubbles to frame the nail. I’ll finish with Top Coat.
I hope you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to like and subscribe.
Love Kirsty
XOXO

It’s funny, the emerald one actually made me think of the 90s haha! Still a beautiful and classy technique regardless of the year though.
The green looks like it is real polished jade❤️🥰
Glad I'm not the only one obsessed with gree. Green and gold together is just lush!.

This is so beautiful and it looks easy and interesting to do. Will definitely try it
I'm a crystal hoarder and these nails are making me drool
Me too! I’ve been doing green crystal nails on myself for about a year...when I saw the pink quartz for the first time I finally found nails that suited me but don’t like pink so I used greens! I just tried to make it as close to one of my crystals as possible. One of the things (for me) to make it look more realistic was having lighter sections of green and some darker to try and duplicate a rough cut crystal. I love that she did another color other than the rose quartz or purple amethyst. I occasionally do one in blue as well. I actually cut “facets” out of thick plastic (like stencils) to create facets like a real crystal by pressing it into the last top layer when it’s thick. These nails are awesome because they are always look amazing no matter what color.
Omg. i LOVE the green one
5 min is the earliest I’ve ever hit lol 😝These are both gorgeous but the green/gold is my favorite too!!
💛💚💛💚

The emerald nail looked velvet before the top coat!! Stunning nails yet again!! The green was definitely my favourite 💚💚💚
bravo super magnifique gros bisous Martine 👍👍👍👏👏👏💅💅💅😙👄🇫🇷🌹🌹🌹
Love this design, the green is my favourite one.
These nails are GORGEOUS!!! I'm especially fond of the rose quartz version, which would be no surprise to anyone who knows me. Pink is my favorite color and has been for 35 or more years. Green is a great color, too. In my teen years neon green and neon yellow were my FAVORITE colors.
Don't worry, Kirsty, I wear my glasses on top of my head (or hanging from a granny chain around my neck) ALL THE TIME. I mean, unless I need to see detail, or I need to read something. Frankly, my glasses bug me, but it's only because my distance vision is still so good. In August I'll be 58, and I haven't had a pair of prescription glasses since I was 16. Astigmatism runs in my family. My grandfather had it, my mother has it, my son has it, and etc. The fact is, I'm going to have to get a *real* pair of prescription glasses very soon. My son is bugging me to do it, and has been since I had cataract surgery in 2017.
The green design is gorgeous, too. One day when I meet either one of you I have a pair of earrings for Kirsty that I just KNOW she will love. They are really cool and look like they were made 5,000 years ago, kinda. But they _are_ vintage 1980s earrings. They are a deep green semi-square, but kinda "wobbly" square-ish, that look kind of like jade, or maybe more like malachite, and *very* much like today's green and gold nail. They have a metallic gold band around the edge, but it looks like ancient gold in that it's not polished, it's just a raw gold look. They are beautiful, but I don't have pierced ears anymore. They made me take my earrings out in the hospital a few years ago, even though I wasn't having surgery. My little gold "continuous" hoops in all three sets of holes were so thick I almost needed pliers to open them enough to get them out of my ears, and in the week I was there the back sides of ALL the piercings closed up! Even the first set of holes that I'd had for FORTY YEARS!!! Maybe one day I'll go to a really good body piercing studio and get the backs of all five holes opened back up again. I really miss my asymmetrical ear piercings. They were fun, and unexpected on a woman of my age... sorta.
Now, for my funny story of the week: I went to see my nurse practitioner this week. A lovely looking older woman came in and I was admiring how nice the "little old lady" looked with her sleek ALL WHITE bob haircut and really cute sneakers/trainers. I was just about to compliment her when the receptionist called the "little old lady" and asked her for her birth date. I overheard her response, and I was SHOCKED! The "little old lady" is ten days YOUNGER than me!!!
Love them! Specially the rose quartz, will have to try them 💖
I love this style of nail art!
i wish i could buy a set of those. so cute
Very pretty.
Those are so beautiful😍
I’d love to take a class taught by you. I feel like I would learn so much. You are awesome!
Those are beautiful
Soo so beautiful ❤️❤️
I loved the green nail slightly matte. If you used slightly different colours, you could make a jade nail! I think that would be really cool.
You make it look so easy K x
I love the rose quartz 😍✨
I am absolutely living for your quarantine content! In the U.S. we techs are back with our clients already and you’ve given me so many fun ideas to try out!!
Absolutely love you and your work! Being stuck at home with 3 boys is maddening! Watching your videos always makes me feel a little better about being in lock down!
Bellissime complimenti!
These are my favorite other then the Alice in wonderland!!! Xoxo
Thank You for all the tutorials! I love all that you explain every step in detail! I live in the U.S. and yes! The salon was soooooo busy the first few weeks we were open again! I mean we’re still busy but it’s come back to a manageable level.
Love these thanks so much Kirsty! I love the rose quartz
The green one is especially gorgeous. It makes me think of malachite.
Omg been waiting for this!! 😍🥰
This has to be the easiest marble technique I’ve seen so far 💕
Beautiful, absolutely stunning
Absolutely stunning as usual. I know what I’ll be practicing today!! 💚💗
Gorgeous 😍😍
These are so beautiful!😍😍
Very clever and very pretty :). My fav is the Rise. Thanks guys :)
I was wondering if you would do any nail design with glam and glits thermal color changing acrylic powder.
I have watched basically all of your videos, and love them all! Thank you for sharing your design's. I have learned a lot from you.
Green and Gold, Australian Olympic Team colours 🦘🐨🥇🇦🇺
You could make jewelry (rings, earrings) out of those tips!
Ha! I'm smarter than I thought as I just started doing the wipe in liquid as well. I also at the start of the day... Put a bunch in the nail cleanser so they are just damp in a small airtight container. Then presto instant nail wipes with out pumping all over the place 😉😊
Me and my college roommate had a rule that you couldn't drink and prime, otherwise the most random stuff would show up a week later and we wouldn't remember ordering it. So you're not the only one kirsty❤
I haven’t visited your channel since you first started working from home, and I am so surprised your still working at home because my state in the US literally has like no restrictions!
I miss sooooooo much your videos doing fay's nails!! :P
I’m going to make myself a “Right So...” tshirt 😁
Precious and beautiful ❤️🌸❤️

These are 💣
Love that Emerald. You said Rich Bitch, so true. 😁Stunning. 💚
Ok now I have everything I need so I have no reason to not do this tutorial 😅💕 love it thanks
Your so awesome 👏 to watch ! I even got my mom hooked on watching your channel we ❤️ you ! She sent me this link so cute I’m happy I watched I wanna do this style now . Ps lol 😂 I think we all make these late night purchases it’s so dangerous! They probably count on us making those late night purchases! So funny love your stories!
You've spoiled us. Let me know my high standards are doable. But I have a hard time even watching subpar technicians because some things just aren't acceptable. Like bumpy nails, without straight edges and nice sidewalls, or ruining the natural nail. I am obsessed and will need to travel from Alaska to see you one day. Now thats not what will tell the husband but he will know once we get to your shop as he will recognize you too. Lol
I know I’ve said this before, but you are an amazing teacher! You really inspire me! And, on top of that, you’re a cuckoo, like me. So it’s just so easy to understand and love you!
Hola hace tiempo qur no veía tus videos.
Gorgeous! 😍💅🏼
We have forsythia here in the US; its also called yellow bells (thats what most people around here know it as). It has these long fronds that are covered in yellow flowers in the spring, and have little bumps all along the fronds. They make very painful switches, not that I speak from experience 😇
Your amazing so simple why I didn't think of this idk but brilliant 😍🔥
How is Fay doing without your nail art masterpieces?
Hermosas👍💖
Just beautiful Kirsty thankyou for sharing...when do you go back to work?
Ayyyy fellow stokie 👋🏻💅🏼
These look amazing. You should do other gem nails like sapphire and ruby.

Hi..where did you get your painter's plate? Love your technique 😘
I wish I could get you to do my nails. My favourite is the rose quartz. P.S. I love you glasses 💗💚
