How do people clean their aperture/iris. I got a centra adjustable after years of using metal inserts and like it a lot, it's really dirty now and I'm terrified of trying some kind of cleaner or solvent on it. I'd like to know if they are glass or some kind of acrylic plastic
If i understand correctly, the front iris is used to adjust the sight to the size so you can center the target easier. Is the rear adjustable aperture only used for light adjustment? or do adjust it to help you center the front sight? How do you reliably center the front sight in the rear sight picture? Thanks!

Thank you very much for sharing this valuable information. I have changed from 1.8mm to 1.1mm. It is still too early to evaluate the improvement.
