I'll provide an extra fun fact: Although Madonna never stayed there I can say that MTV once visited the Inn to shoot a station video for a series they were having called "A muck in America." During this impromptu visit they were able to film a 2 minute skit involving one of the rooms named Madonna Suite. The skit involved 2 curious lads wondering if Madonna lived in that room ... so they knocked on the door and a pretend Madonna answers the door and exchanges salutations with the crew ... she had a towel on her head as if she just finished a shower... and the two crew members were in awe that she gave them 2 mins of her time and she closes the door. Looking at the room name on the door they said: Oh, look Madonna Suite. She sure is. I think they used this skit for the opening of the 1989 MTV Video music awards.

Dare' a significant characteristic of the Inn, belongs to the hand-carved marble balustrade in the Gold Rush dining room that came from Hearst Castle. The 16'4" tall, 29'6" wide gold tree fixture in the main dining room was made from electrical conduit left over from building projects and leftover remnants of copper. All copper and brass items were etched and shaped from original designs and fabricated on the premises. The sad news about the passing of both Gina Lollobrigida (95) and Tatjana Patritz, a German fashion model of 56 years, strikes me since I have had the pleasure of seeing both in real-time close-ups. The latter occupies characteristics of Kat Wonders. I first saw Ms. Patitz's fashion formula at the Etro; Etro is a family-managed Italian fashion house founded in 1968. It is mainly known for its paisley patterns, which the company started making in 1981-a wing of the Milano Fashion show. Tatjana fashion videos in the 1980s incorporated Duran Duran, George Michael, and Naomi Campbell. Over the years, I have witnessed Ms. Patitz couple on the runway with Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington. Only once have I seen Tatjiana Patiz outweighed, even outclassed, and that occurrence took place at the New York Fashion show in 2007 when the galloping boots to the kneecap of Karli Kloss. Very informative about your stay at the Madonna Inn. Quite amazing with the stones furnished within the inn, and they're from there too! I can't directly say I have a favorite, the Yeehaw room is cool, the Fairy one is nice, the Irish room is just eye-popping with the color and the stone sinks and shower. The most pink I saw was the dinner area at the Madonna Inn. Dare, you hosted it well! Thank goodness you didn't get caught in the men's bathroom, even if the waterfall urinal was cool and refreshing, hah!!
