Raymond I don’t know what Jennings politics are. My comment was based on what was said in this video. There are many people that believe things that I don’t believe, that doesn’t mean that everything that comes out of their mouths is false. The problem Black people face goes way back to before we even got to this land, some through slavery, some got here before that. But I’m not gonna get into that. The solution is in our hands. No one can save us (especially the caucasians) but us.
We all hate on Nick sometimes, but when he speaks on deep issues such as Kobe Bryant death and police brutality and how he fights back tears on both issues, shows how good of a heart he has. RESPECT
Dree Bree didn't realize my uncles fought in the same war his grandfather did. The difference is my uncles came home from the war not able to ride, sit or drink in the areas that Dree's grandfather was able to simply because of their skin color. My uncles fought for freedom in America that only Dree's grandfather was able to obtain. Dree knows full well what the kneeling during the National Anthem was about. So it is okay for Officer Chauvin to take both knees and place on George Floyd's neck but Black America can't bow on one. That flag that Dree respects so much and the anthem that Dree loves so much was never intended for Black America in the first place. I am not asking to change Dree's opinion, but don't criticize mine because my experience as a Black man in America differs from yours.
Not to mention that we don't hear Drew complaining about all the disrespect to our military every time someone waves the Confederate battle flag of treason, or how some people glorify those statues of Confederate traitors against the United States.
@Raymond Was Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old African-American emergency room technician part of those "problem people" you talk about? Because police broke into her apartment in plain clothes and shot her 8 times, murdering her. When her boyfriend fired back with his legal firearm, he was arrested, despite the police breaking down the wrong apartment door.
@Raymond What your statement is lacking is context. People in tough neighborhoods that scrap and scrape for everything, they eventually start to become what they think they need to become in order to survive. With no fathers to guide them and people automatically seeing them as a threat in society eventually erodes a person from the inside out over time. That creates what you're eluding to. No fathers in the household is incentivized by the government btw. You only get assistance if there is no father present. So lots of fathers reside elsewhere to gain the assistance for the family. Something else to be angry about. This created anger and frustration eventually leads to a lashing out in the wrong way. Violence against one another. But when you're the police and are properly trained and held to the code and narrative to PROTECT & SERVE... this shouldn't be happening. Your statement is dismissive my friend. Where is the humane empathy? Its very "Matter of fact" and without context. Actually TRY to understand another's perspective and you'll see the world change right before you. It could be frightening, I understand.... But so many of the majority dont want to try. Its too uncomfortable. This is why this narrative will never change. Being dismissive will only serve to perpetuate the problem. Which makes these sorts of comments and the people who make them advocates for inequality. Coming into this conversation with more statistics or contrasting comparisons only shows cold heartedness and an unwillingness to understand. People are dying at the hands of those who swore to protect.... That should be the only narrative. Dont change the topic with redirection. Because it perpetuates the problem. Its essentially saying "Why deal with it if we can change the narrative". Right??
WOW, Nick Wright eloquently expressed every feeling I was feeling when I heard what Drew had the audacity to say. That was an amazing breakdown of exactly what is happening! I’m glad it was somebody white who said it may be others will believe it now.

As for Nick, I've always got time for him. You can clown him for his LeBron/Chief homerism but on most subjects, his opinions are measured and informed. The sincerity regarding this topic isn't contrived either, as his wife is black.

Nick has been on this week! Thank you!!
First time I've liked something Nick has said.
And it is the most important thing not the sports stuff, can't hate someone for commenting on sports. This statement proves to you not to hate people for sport analysis. Nick's a good guy......
Nick!!!! That was well said, thank you.
That was powerful, Nick and Greg. Brought tears into my eyes.
Mic drop at the end 🎤
I really love this segment of the show today and everyone spoke on point...
Nick, Greg, Kevin: powerful and strong statements, cannot agree more!!!
One take of this magnitude & Nick has surpassed Skip. Albeit Skip has been great.
Wow Greg, Nick... 👏🏾👏🏾
Just imagine if that was one of drew's black team members being killed that way the cop not know that he's a pro athlete. Do you guys think drew would have that same comment? Let's be clear it doesn't effect drew so he doesn't get it. When its starts drew or his family then just then he'll change his attitude and thinking.
Greg Jennings... well said...👍
Wow. This might be the first time that I’ve co-signed a Nick Wright segment. Good job man.
Unknowingly, I'd carry around my military ID for that very same reason...
Me as well. I'm so glad I was able to move abroard.
@@billyabroad8057 what part of the world are you at?...I'm honestly thinking about leaving the USA.
Saddest comment ever unbelievable
Alhajie Swaray I live in Bangkok in the Lap of luxury in brand new high end duplex loft condominium for a quarter of the cost I was paying for an “alright” apartment in LA will making 50% more then I did salary wises. Plus top tax rate is 30% and that includes medical.
Being able to travel to other nearby countries for $100 to 200 round trip and travel to the islands with endless beautiful beaches for $50 round tip every weekend with My wife and friends. You can’t be it. Check out the UA-cam channel “the black experience Japan” It’s a must watch. It will show you how blacks are living in paradise abroad. We are thriving abroad! The world loves us!
Nick sent chills down my spine. I show the police my military iD when the cops pull me over to
Truth. My military ID changed the situation to my advantage when I was stopped twice.
Thank God NY drivers license has an option where you can have VETERAN designated on your license ( for an extra fee of course).
Nick be goin in ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
That’s what I’m talking about Nick and Greg ✊🏾✊🏻 That was powerful !!
Nick Wright salute!!!
Whew two times brother, two times!!!
WOW. I too still carry my retired ID card with me everywhere in case I get pulled over. When the military stopped requiring decals on cars, I didn't remove mine for years because a lot of police in Florida are ex military.
Man I just want to give you 4 a huge huge. This was powerful. Such a strong message
Nick's passionate speech is golden!
Nick wright is a g.. period 🙏🏿💪🏿
This was a wonderful conversation with excellent points, well done guys🙏🏽✊🏿
Amazing, Nick and Greg.
Very powerful statements by Greg and Nick! A ray of hope in this time of great sadness. Thank you guys!
This was deep. Wow.
On a lighter note, I see why nick was so hot on the chiefs...
12:30 - 13:40 Wow!
Man that was powerful nick! Thank you brother! And to you too Greg! Great segment!
If Drew Brees doesn't get what it's about by now, he probably never will. Or maybe he doesn't even want to.
He's just a Trump fanboy
So he’s not allowed to have an opinion
@@ekiacountry6416 That's not an opinion.
Agreed..Dude is 40+ he knows. Might not know how deep the 🐇hole is but he knows. 😒 Guess his grandparents forgot to mention that BP fought in USofA Incorporated Wars and when the German POWs were captured they made the BM sit in the bottom of the carrier while the POWs sat up top of the carrier.
@@ekiacountry6416 It's fine if that's what he sees when he looks at the flag, but he doesn't seem to understand that black men might not see the same thing as him. More importantly, this whole thing shouldn't even be about the flag, it should be about protesting against police brutality and social injustice. The major disconnect is that Brees seems to think it's about the former rather than the latter.
Omg. Both the brother and the other brother at the end of the video, made me cry as a 39yr old man. "Pull me on dry land' with you. And how the white guy spoke and held back tears you are my brother too. Thank you.
