When I was a little kid my dad made my sister, two little brothers, and I crayon costumes, we were all our favorite colors (I was purple), we had winter coats in our favorite colors and my dad took poster paper (board?) in the colors and with a black marker painstakingly drew on the black swingles on the top and bottom and a black oval in the middle with the Crayola logo, and cut out arm holes for us. And I don’t know if it’s because we were crayons and we just started noticing the other crayon costumes online, or if someone sent the idea to a Halloween costume business, but the next year there were crayon costumes all over online and seemingly only for teenage girls

When I was in 7th grade almost two years ago me and my friends were struggling really hard to find a costume. All the costumes we wanted to do took time, and we were literally last minute. This was like a “we’re leaving school, Halloween is tomorrow” thing. And one of us (I don’t remember who) decided “WE COULD BE THE RAINBOW” so we all had a color and came dressed like that. Everywhere we went we made sure to be in color order it was really fun tbh. This year idek what I was. I forgot

It's nice she had people who cared enough about her growing up taking pictures of her knowing they would mean something to her. My parents threw all our childhood pictures in the bin after divorce then again, most adults never find maturity.

I dressed as a plague doctor for Halloween of 2020 I had already always wanted to do a plague doctor costume for so many years before that and with the pandemic going on the costume was kinda fitting so I did it finally.
So did I, it was fun!

I'm a triplet, so Halloween costumes were fairly easy when we came to a decision on what we were going as and how we would do it. We've gone as cats, zebras, paper dolls, we got pretty creative over the years, lol. I was an old lady one year and the Mom version of Wonder Woman the next. Being an old lady for Halloween kind of stuck with me because I'm 5'2 and 120 pounds and tiny as frick. Plus, my grandma's clothes fit me at the time. 🤷♀️ It worked. 😂
