I just moved into my first apartment in Houston and one of the must haves was white cabinetry and marble/quartz countertops. White is such a vibe aesthetically. Your place is lovely 🤍
"Why would you have a kitchen without an island." I felt thisssss.... My kitchen had this big open space and I had to have one made. Girls, it's a must have if you have the space!!! I'm loving your apartment... If you see any other bar stools you like make sure they are 'counter height' instead of bar height. Also, the TV stand can work, just lower the TV to eye level to balance it out. Okay, that's all. We're proud of youuuu!! ♡ ♡
I would enjoy the views if you were not in the way. It looks good. However, the real effect was lost…too much you in the view.

Beautiful apartment. I do disagree that metallics is so 2019/2020’s. Decor is like fashion, you can mix and use old styles and freshen it up with new. No one should dictate what is old or new or “old school”. It’s a preference. With that said, love how light everything you have is. Makes your beautiful space even more spacious.

I never dictated what’s old or new, for me it’s old because that’s what I used for my old apartment and I feel like I’ve gravitated away from metallics and bright colors in my home to something more neutral. But thank you for your comment.

I love this, i’m getting an apartment in January and I want it to go with a very simple minimalistic style. With very neutral colors and I only wanted pops of colors in the paintings that I would do myself. You can order it in whatever color u like, she said the original color had grey under tone so that is why she ordered something different.

I don't think your TV stand is short. I feel like your TV is just too high up. If you bring it down to like eye level, it will be better, and then you can spies the top part of it with some decorative pieces.

Apartment tours are all looking the same but I really love the neutral colors and minimalist vibe . The outside life is so fast and chaotic, you just wanna come home to a soft feel , everything in place , neat . Its so much easier to maintain a house with few things than just stocking up a whole bunch of decor that’s unnecessary 🙌I feel like especially the times our parents grew up, all they did was compete with each other , if they see another mom with some new typa decor , they too wanna copy it and it would just lead to a great load of stocking up unnecessary things. Nowadays its pick one aesthetic and maintain , so much cheaper too. It frees the mind and soul .
