One humble request, Please pay attention to the lyrics and pronunciation. "In my naive understanding" ( At 0.31) The word is pathaka (meaning Sin) it was pronounced 'T' (as TIger) but it should be pronounced as 'Th' (As T in Tamilnadu as a native Tamil speaker would say it). Please understand I am not trying to point out to mistakes. I adore your work and just like any other fan, I would like your masterpiece to be perfect. Thanks for the treasure of music you are giving away to the world of music. I Wish you the best and look forward to more divine music.

Yet the Sanskrit word is 'Pataka' not 'Pathaka'.
You may be right but when the lyrics are written in english, phonetically it is pronounced as T in tiger... that could be the reason. Nevertheless, They did extemely well and if I am not mistaken Pragathi has been raised outside India. I am sure they will learn over a period of time. :)
While attempting such songs and posted for public, one shd understand the meaning and pronunciation too, to bring the desired result ( of the original kriti)

Translation
Drink (verb piban) (implied: absorb) the essence (rasam) of the name of Rama, o tongue (rasana).
It will help you (implied) remove or be distant (doori krta) from association with sin(pAtaka) (or be distant from those who cause you to sin) and you will be fulfilled (poorita) with many kinds (nAnAvidha) and types (varga) of rewards/gains (phala).
It will help you be far removed (vidUram) from the grief (shOka) of the cycle of birth and death (janana-maraNa), it is the essence (sAram) of all (sakala) the religious treatises (shAstra), the Vedas (nigama) and sciences (Agama).
It protects (paripAlita) all creation. Brahma was born of a lotus (sarasija) from a golden egg (garbha anda, womb & egg) and then he created the whole universe. So this phrase implies that Rama nama protects the whole universe. It will purify (pavitrI) even the most (parama) impious or heretic (pAshANDam).
It is the pure (shuddha) song (gItam) that paramahamsa (signature of poet) has taken refuge in (Ashrama/Ashrita), it is the same which has been drunk (pItam) by sages like Shuka, Shaunaka and Kaushika.
