    There is a correction at 9:40 in question-5 we got the capacity 8626 in KJ/min., So kindly divide it by 60 to get capacity 144 in KW.

      If we get capacity as 144 kW, then we must divide by 210/60 = 3.5.. hence, we still get 41TR.. so what you have done is absolutely right.. there is no need to divide by 60. Either methods are correct.

    I have one ☝️ question what is the SHF formula is it H3 - H2/ H1- H2 ( shown in 5th question ) or H3 - H1/ H2 - H1 ( shown in 6th question )

      Both are correct......shf is a factor can't be negative, simply remember bigger value - smaller value

    1. Give a synoptic air flow diagram of the described system
    2. Extract the characteristics (DBT, WBT, H, RH, w, v) of both the internal and external airs fr psychrometric chart.
    3. Calculate the mass flow rate of;
    a. The supplied air
    b. The recycled air
    c. The outdoor air
    4. Find the characteristics (DBT, WBT, H, RH, w, v) of the air at the inlet of the coiling coil
    5. If the by-pass factor of the cooling coil is 0.15, deduce the value of the contact factor.
    6. Determine the surface temperature of the cooling coil.
    7. Calculate the sensible and latent loads on the cooling coil.
    8. Deduce the sensible heat factor (SHF).
    9. Calculate the power of the cooling coil.

    Conceptual and physical understanding need to be focused while solving the problem.
    For Example : if the object is at 100 deg F temperature people know and feel what such a temp is. Such type of understanding required from your videos. .which will add more value to your videos and as well viewers understanding

    Hey buddy, great video.
    Small correction. In 6min12sec, the unit of the mass flow rate should be kg/min instead of the m³/min of the volume flow rate
    So 185.2 kg/min

    This type of problems like we have to find:-
    1) total heat transfer in kw for air flow rate of 100 metrecube per min
    2) bypass factor of cooling coil if coil surface temperature is 22 degree c

    In question no. 2 the formula for heat added = mass flow rate *(change in h)
    But in question no. 6 heat added is just change in h.
    Is there any mistakes or any reasons for that?

    If the heating is to be from 30*C DB and 90% RH to 30*C. The cooling is to be from 27*CDB and 70% RH to 30*C. What would the moisture content (grams water per kg of dry air) be and the enrhalphy of the air (KJ per kg). How would this look like on the psychrometric chart? Thanks

    what if the pressure is not remain constant in this process ? for example: air compression by using a compressor. we know that, inlet pressure is 1 atm, and the outlet pressure is greater then.

      Psychrometry Chart is used for finding the properties of air at a single point but only when pressure is 1 bar.....but if pressure is not 1 bar then that problem can't be solved by using chart, we have to solve it by using seperate formulas of humidity ratio, heat added etc......to go in deep you can go through Ravi Kumar's NPTEL Roorkee lectures.

    An air conditioning system receives 3kg/s of Outside Air at 38o
    C with a dew point of 9o
    C (call this point
    A), which is mixed adiabatically with 7kg/s of Return Air at 27o
    C, Φ=80% (point B). The resulting
    mixture (point C) is then cooled until its specific humidity is 11.8g/kg (point D). It is then mixed with
    additional Outside Air (point A again) such that the new mixture is at the Supply Air condition of 25o
    C,
    Φ=50%. (point E)
    Using the psychrometric chart,
    (a) Determine the amount of heat removed from the system between (C) and (D)
    (b) Determine the mass flowrate of additional outside air required to get from (D) to (E)
    (c) Sketch the whole process on a sketch of the psychrometric chart.

      It determines the ratio of heat added for heating without humidification to total heat added.

      Atul Singh.....that's why the answer is in per Kg. There no any data is given in that question related to mass flow rate.... And psychometric chart always shows the value in per Kg.
