Genuinely the first time I cried about any TV show/film. This third of series 7 has by far been my favourite just with the first 5 episodes.
The only time I ever cried over a TV show was when sambuca Kelly died
Grantly crying at the end and Harley giving him a hug is one of the most precious scenes from the whole franchise ❤️😭
Grantly was always my favourite character. Always had a frosty barricade in front of him and underneath was a caring man.

This episode killed me. Grantly is so pure.
Fleur's dementia and Sam's cancer were the saddest storylines in Waterloo Road! 😢 On a lighter note, Grantly seems to have found the son he never had in Harley!

I think that while I look back at Season 3 - 5 the most fondly and think of it as the golden era, in my opinion season 7 is probably the highest quality season with the best storylines.
Felt sorry for Grantly this episode, always liked him despite others opinion on him, also really like Nicki, oh and Harley, he's so cute and compassionate, omg im so soppy, I started crying at the end...
This is such a great performance from the actor who plays Grantly. Thinking back to series 1, the character has developed so much

The way Grantly's face fell when he turned away from Harley after the scene where he gives the book away really gets me in the feels. You can just see how Fleur's health deteriorating is really having an effect on Grantly. You can also see it in his body language and his facial expressions leading up to this episode. Great performance.
