- Vibration Analysis with Emersons Patented PeakView enveloping is very useful for detecting slow speed bearings down to 1 rpm. Here is an example of a 20 rpm roll needing condition monitoring and what you see from the live results and stored data

Can we set band pass peakvue setting, e.g 100-500Hz?. Sometime i see nothing in peakvue (HP 500) for low speed (30rpm), in actual condition bearing has defect
Never tried that band pass. I had one bearing recently that had a fault that was not giving any signal, It had failed sometime ago and running on the housing and it was regularly greased,so it was acting like a sleave bearing. Out off 400 bearings, I find the settings I use gives me 99+% capture, but there is alway one that will behave differently
@@Pdm-reliability Thank you. One more question, in low speed beraring defect case, what do we need to see to justify the correct execution time? Time waveform Pk-pk g?
@@muhammadtrendo2517 Hi Muhammed. I usually monitor at 0.5gs peakvue and repair above 2.5gs peakvue. I have seen bearings go upto 90gs as they are chewing up the balls if the customer cant repair quickly.
What are the parameter you used to set up peakvue ?
Hi Fredy A. I used 80 hz FMax, with 500 hz Highpass Filter and 1600 LOR, 1 Average, if that makes sense
What is the specification of the sensor used?
100mv/g accelerometer. Ctc brand
@@Pdm-reliability model of sensor?
Frequency range? Does it work with CSI 2140 analyzer?
I use the CTC Ac 203 sensor for slow speed on my 2140
