Hey Ducky ! The first part of the video is at a very nice public park. The last part where Derek is standing on the pipe is not the same body of water . It's the place he and I were talking about so we went there without the camera on until he caught the snake. The reel is from the abu garcia max X combo , the rod I picked up at a yard sale for $1 . I've never fished for perch but from what I see on youtube perch seem to like bass lures and I'm a big fan of lipless crank baits and jerk baits. However perch on this side of the pond might differ from those on your side so my advise would be to research perch fishing in Australia .
