I'm thinking this puts the opponent on the offensive and allows Stouty to be in greater control of his own accels, as the opponent is always pushing up to him; so all Stouty has to do is suddenly push forward with an attack and the opponent will in effect walk into Stouty's attack. Would be nice to hear Stouty's thought-process at the beginning of a fight, though. Personally, with about 35 hours of Mordhau xp, in a 1v1 I will initiate a fight and largely just throw attacks at the opponent while trying to adapt to their style. Not much in the way of tactics.
@@Flanker-NineZero if you've ever played chiv then you'd understand why he backsteps. backstepping can create a distance between him and the attacker so when the attacker goes for a swing he can backstep, just barely dodge the reach of the attackers swing then mid backstep attack to attack him mid-swing

one thing that might help you is, create a chess log of sorts of the person he is fighting and the attacks stouty does all the information is there.
