Great video. I'd like to see you do one of these for those of us whose favorite philosophical areas are discipline adjacent such as philosophy of science, philosophy of biology, philosophy of mind, etc. Oh, and metaphilosophy.
Having a theory about what truth is doesn't give you a theory for how to ascertain truth necessarily. No theory of truth currently known does this. That would be nice thing to have, and it motivates pragmatist thinking, but it's not the only horse out there.
Epistemology and Metaphysics are divided subjects for the reason that they don't comprise the same things. You can mix them, but their elements are different.

I am tired as hell so what i will write might break somwhere in the lines. The problem with people who think they are logic are usually just as illogic as anyone else. I would say that the most logic people are people who gets high results on STEM or having education within engineering fields or science based fields. A logic based mind is someone who can come to a conclusion no matter how threatning it will be to their worldview and accept it based on the data of it without having the need to adjust the data to fit their already established worldview or do cherry picking. What i will say will sound mean but the most logic people usually have the education and the work which represents it. My point is that, there will be a loads of people who will sit and say. "Yeah! I am logic incarnate!" when it is actually not the case. This is of course either due to what people want to believe about themselves or lacking self awareness. I always disliked metaphysics when I was younger because there was little to no facts and everyone could say whatever they felt and just wasting time. I always found it fuzzy and I don't like fuzzy stuff. Anyway, I don't agree with all your opinions about these but it was still interesting, a long lasting friendship is based on accepting differences!
Logic, especially formal logic definitely has more applications than philosophy and law. It is the foundation/guiding rules for all of mathematics. It’s also the underpinning for much of computer science, from coding languages to the literal hardware of logic gates. The technology that makes modern computation even possible… I’m literally proving your point about the people who like logic being insufferable/confrontational nerds 😂
I probably am the sort of person who'd correct your grammar, but I don't really have many strong positions on logic or philosophy of logic. Like maybe I consider there to be substantive metaphysical differences between one's choice of modal logic - like SK vs. S5, and I have a preference for a substitutional theory of logical consequence, but that's about as much as I'm committed to. I think they're cool though, but I more get opinionated around the topic of externalism more than anything.
