Italian Vacation Rental Breakdown 1997 - We All Get Taken For A Ride

This was my first car related UA-cam video I made back in 1997 with the help of my mom operating the camera.
Diesel rental van breaks down on an Italian highway about 50 Kilometers outside of Milan while traveling on a family vacation. The cool thing is that Italy has emergency call boxes along the highway. In the event of a breakdown just press the button and help is on its way. Or at least they used to have them back in 1997. I have no idea if they still do today.
But what do you do with a broken down van full of passengers? Simple. Tow the whole thing with passengers inside. We got taken for a ride with no idea where we were going. We were completely at the mercy of the two truck driver with no way to escape if things had gone wrong. Fortunately, it all worked out just fine.
