Oil was a commodity with intrinsic value. Crypto has no intrinsic value. But you can buy real estate with bitcoin. And all the treasury that creates stablecoins, those will be traded or outright used as currency, and chase after goods and services. We will get 10% 20% inflation after few years.

All the 100 year charts of cash, bonds, stocks, and gold reveal the mistake of investing in cash. Gold is the real money; stocks with stable dividends and earnings growth are where to be long term. I am mostly in SGOL and BRK-B.

Gold commodity funds like GLD are good if you just want gold exposure thats better than messing around with bullion. It tracks gold price with commodoties futures. Gold over time has done poorly against stocks, however. Gold does bad when times are good, for example. Gold stocks are risky. I dont think its a good idea., Many things can affect them. Really to dabble in that stuff you need a 100 PHD research team, and thats not you. Invest in S&p 500 through DCA if you want stock. Don't listen to all these blabbermouths on channels like this, mostly they are wrong. You could make GLD like 10% of your portfolio as a counterbalance, maybe. But the whole of it, no way,. These blabbermouths on this channel are disinfo artists.

I was so excited when I bought my first kilo bar of .9999 gold. I would never do that again. If you must have physical gold just buy 1 oz bullion coins. I would never buy junk silver. Why? See the old O'Keefe video where he trys to offer someone a 10 oz silver bar or a Hershey bar, in front of a coin shop, no less. People are idiots. When someone sees your junk silver they see the stamped price and that's all. Shiny silver maples or Eagles are fine. Oil was a commodity with intrinsic value. Crypto has no intrinsic value. But you can buy real estate with bitcoin. And all the treasury that creates stablecoins, those will be traded or outright used as currency, and chase after goods and services.
