I briefly wondered if it would live up to the original, but then I realised that with Joe and Taka on the job, there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt.

I think Radiohead is one of the most difficult band to cover because of their unique sound. Lots of Analog synths, pedal effects, looping, delays and reverb processing. And the unique and melancholic voice of Thom Yorke.
Joe Edelmann is very impressive! I can barely hear the difference with the original song. In fact, without the visuals, I would think it's from a live show cuz, yeah, it's perfect!
I'm usually not a big fan of cover songs unless it's very different from the original. It needs to be creative. But here, it's science at it's pure state!
I'm a huge fan of what he's doing! I loved when he did synth tutorials! (If he can hear me ;) )

This song for me I think was mind blowing when I first heard, it was like listening to beethoven or mahler, and that cover by taka and Joe is fuckin awesome, so passionate and I'm sure radiohead themselves would give that a thumbs up....Great job

Joe, it feels like I post this comment on all of your videos. You are so talented. Radiohead songs are so incredibly complicated and difficult to play yet you master them and perform with such ease. I can only imagine how many hours you've spent practicing and perfecting your craft.
With a lot of covers on youtube its hard to find many that are TRUE dissections of the cadences and rhythm, timing. It takes someone who really loves this song to recreate it so well as best as they could. If not the best overall. Keep rocking fr!

the whole way through I was hoping you'd do that bit thom did at the end of the live version in Sao Paulo 2018 because that makes the song so powerful imo and THE MADMAN ACTUALLY DOES IT!!!!
