Sometimes, it's fun to do something just for the pleasure of creating. You can't always make it about the money. Doing something just because you wanted to is like taking a breath of fresh air. Good for you.

For many DIY and hobbyist woodworking, there is a huge tendency of us (myself included) to rush the finishing process after spending so much time cutting, sanding, and assembling projects. I am very happy Katie took the time to go back until it was done right! It was kinda inspirational in a way to see that she took her time and did it right even though it cost her in the end. Good job Katie!

I love how this turned out. I especially love that you didn’t rush the process. You continued to evaluate your project at each step and made adjustments as needed, even if they would take a lot of time. Thanks for reminding us that creating art is often a time-consuming process. But, it is so worth it in the end.

A great way to speed up having to cut lots of pieces in the same length is to attach a stop block to your saw. Just like you did with the painters tape, if you clamp a scrap piece of wood there instead it's fast to butt the wood up against that instead of trying to accurately align it with the tape. Love your channel!

A great example of how being deliberate and intricate in the prep steps can make all the difference in the finished product! This turned out so gorgeous, I hope you can find a buyer that appreciates how lovely it is and how much love went into it and you can make at least a bit of profit. Regardless, hopefully it helps you gain followers, grow the brand and gain partnerships to make up for any lack of profit.... very well done!🔥
