Makes me want to cry. This was one of the last compositions I sang with my college Chior before covid ended my college career. We practiced this and it was hard at first. But eventually, the parts came together in great harmony. We were ready for concert. The word “alleluia” means praise God which is hard to do in a time like this where I graduated college with no ceremony and churches are being ordered to close. We never did sing this in concert. Still, God is worthy of praise since He sent His son to die for us. Please accept the free gift of Jesus’ sacrifice before it’s too late. He is coming back soon!!!
I did this my senior year of high school. We all spread out across the entire stage, in mixed parts, holding a candle. Our Director expected us to be professionals, so he did not even direct it.
Beautiful performance. We're singing this at our church this coming Sunday, but certainly not for memory. This takes me back to my days performing the Randall Thompson Alleluia for memory in my college choir.

A superb performance. God is present in this performance. Thank you.
Excellent singing. This performance is quite good. Great intonation. Thank you.
Truly Wonderful!!!!!! I listen to this recording very often!!! Absolutely Wonderful Voices!!!! Bravo!!!!
I sang this at the Illinois Allstate festival back in 1999. The part at 2:13 still gives me goosebumps every time.
I wonder if my fellow Mounders remember singing this song in the early 2000s with Mr. Mundlock. It still sticks in my head after 11 years!
