I got 2 carbine and long, Nice tip on the Mosin kits. gotta remember that, I am sadistic as far as ouchie shoulder, I keep em up until some kid says rifles do not kick usually by second Nazi issue ammo enbloc they are screaming uncle, But now cast boolits gonna help me cheat em and how hehhehehehehhehehehehe
I always wanted one of these, they can be converted to bolt handle on the left. Instead I ended up with a Swiss K31, which has a left side handle and a scope mounted on the right side. Perfect for a lefty.
My Bulgarian refurbished M95 was originally poorly fitted. Even I bent the extractor tail and sharpened the tail's rib, the bolt body still won't stay extended all the way and will still tries to retract itself. I in the end got myself an unnumbered bolt shroud, with the tuned extractor altogether, the bolt cycling finally is smooth and light.
Wow thank you so much, your video is the only one that covers this problem with this old warhorse,it's like a new rifle I reload down also, saves this old shoulder.
Great video Al, I have watched as many videos as I can on the M95 before I buy one and yours is by far the most helpful, thank you for sharing your mods. I have a question about your modification to the cocking piece where you said you changed the angle for a lighter/ smoother trigger pull. Did you simply use a file and if so what type of file?
Hi Al: thanks for your video on the M 95 Steyr. I have one but it dies not have a follower to hold ammo. I can load one if I carefully get it under the ejector before loading. I want to be able to load clips. Do you know where I can get one or who may be able to fabricate one? Thanks RDC
How low can you go with powder charge using PPU 8mm208 grain bullets? I put a slight bend im the exstractor and it stays in place when removing bolt, still alittle stiff.Any more sugestions? Great video
There's really hardly any information like this on these rifles. Thank you for passing this on, Al.
