This song makes me think of the two BEST FRIENDS any1 could ask for. I have learnt so much from them and not just how to be strong. I've learnt that even in a world or hardships and horror, there are still kind souls out there that I can lean on. I've learnt so much and I love them more than life itself. I would do anything for them and their happiness. I have learnt from them probably more than what my teachers and family and life all combined have taught me. They mean they world to me and I could never repay them for what they've done for me even in a million years. They are the BEST people I know. Bonny and Fleur, thank you for everything! 😍😍 xxxxxxxxxxx
Miley Cyrus wrote this song. She wrote both versions. She is an extremely talented artist. Once upon a time though her lyrics were way more inspirational than they are now. But
Productions547 It is. But I still love the version she sang with Billy Ray Cyrus. If you ask me, they are really great together. I love their duets I Learned From You, Love That Let's Go, Butterfly Fly Away, and Ready Set Don't Go, one of the only country song miley cyrus did.
I always think of Anakin and his mom from Star Wars. Anakin killing Tusk Raiders bc THEY killed his mom. In my opinion, it’s really sweet. That just goes to show how much Anakin cared about his mom. 😍
I'm not a fan of the movie but the "Dead Meat" kid entertained me, Leslie makes the biggest smiles any other live action character cannot rival, the main theme is wondrous and this song is catchy and awesome. (PS the climax with that dark spirit was the best part)
this song makes me think about me and my friend who's like my big brother who graduated this year he's shown me so much and i could tell him something i couldn't tell my other friends I'm just worried I'm going to be an emotional wreak when i return to campus since he won't be there
I detest Miley Cyrus but can not deny that there was once a time when she had strong and inspirational lyrics and I enjoy this song. These lyrics are more preferable to me and I believe far more suitable for the characters and storyline of 'Bridge to Terabithia' than the Billy Ray lyrics. I suppose some liberties were probably taken with the Billy Ray collab version considering it was NOT the version that made the film. 'Bridge to Terabithia' is such a fantastic film. I have the book on my quite heavily populated list. It's a bit nostalgic for me. I had a friendship similar to Jess and Leslie's in the 5th grade. We created and acted out or own film-like stories and kind of isolated ourselves from the rest of the school daycare which we attended. I lost him as well, though not to death. He was in 4th grade. So I graduated and he changed schools and we just never saw each other again.
Miley cyrus wrote both songs but she wrote this verison 1st then it was put on Bridge of Terabithia soundtrack but then she wrote this song again with Billy for the Hannah montana soundtrack i love both versions of this song but i like this better.
Josh Hutcherson who played Jesse in the film Bridge to Terabithia and AnnaSophia Robb who played Leslie in the film Bridge to Terabithia are all grown up now. I loved the Disney/Walden Media Pictures movie Bridge to Terabithia. I also love this version of the song I Learned From You better than the one Miley Cyrus and her Dad Billy Ray Cyrus did as a Duet. But the Duet one fits better with the movie. These lyrics down below fit better than the solo version if you think about the relationship Leslie and Jesse had Ooh, yeah I didn't wanna listen to what you were sayin' I thought that I knew all I need to know I didn't realize that somewhere inside me I knew you were right but I couldn't say so I can take care of myself, yeah, you taught me well I learned from you that I do not crumble I learned that strength is something you choose All of the reasons to keep on believin' There's no question, that's a lesson, that I learned from you We always don't agree on What is the best way To get to the place that we're going from here But I can really trust you, and give you the distance To make your decisions without any fear I'm grateful for all of the times You opened my eyes I learned from you that I do not crumble I learned that strength is something you choose All of the reasons to keep on believin' There's no question, that's a lesson I learned from you You taught me to stand on my own And I thank you for that You saved me, you made me, And now that I'm looking back I can say Whoa! Hmm, hmm, yeah! I learned from you that I learned from you I do not crumble I learned that strength is something you choose Something you choose All of the reasons to keep on believin', Keep on believin' There's no question, that's a lesson that I learned from you Whoa! I learned from you I learned that strength is something you choose Something you choose All of the reasons to keep on believin', There's no question, that's a lesson that I learned from you Yeah! I learned from you

Ooh, yeah
I didn't wanna listen to what you were sayin'
I thought that I knew all I need to know
I didn't realize that somewhere inside me
I knew you were right but I couldn't say so
I can take care of myself, yeah, you taught me well
I learned from you that I do not crumble
I learned that strength is something you choose
All of the reasons to keep on believin'
There's no question, that's a lesson, that I learned from you
We always don't agree on
What is the best way
To get to the place that we're going from here
But I can really trust you, and give you the distance
To make your decisions without any fear
I'm grateful for all of the times
You opened my eyes
I learned from you that I do not crumble
I learned that strength is something you choose
All of the reasons to keep on believin'
There's no question, that's a lesson
I learned from you
You taught me to stand on my own
And I thank you for that
You saved me, you made me,
And now that I'm looking back
I can say
Whoa!
Hmm, hmm, yeah!
I learned from you that
I learned from you
I do not crumble
I learned that strength is something you choose
Something you choose
All of the reasons to keep on believin',
Keep on believin'
There's no question, that's a lesson that I learned from you
Whoa!
I learned from you
I learned that strength is something you choose
Something you choose
All of the reasons to keep on believin',
There's no question, that's a lesson that I learned from you
Yeah!
