You have to use the --force flag to ignore the dependency miss-match.

No you didn't, just have to make sure nothing is breaking when forcing.
Holding off on 15 untill React.js 19 is stable and more packages support it. This vercel release is way too early 😒
The APIs in React 19 have stable for quite some time now, it's the other packages that have to catch up.
What about use next 15 but downgrade react to 18?
You can do that in the pages router.
