No, the didn't kill her because if they did, the capital would hate it, and they would have to go through interviews with the new female tribute. And I honestly have no idea where you got this because I've read all three books at least 10 times, ( I've read the first one AT LEAST 42) and it makes no mention of the tributes being hurt or killed for having an item that is potentially dangerous. Another example, Katniss's mockingjay pin. Cinna distinctly says, and I quote, "This barely passed through security". They have security, not guillotines to kill them if the have a "potentially dangerous" token.

Peeta gave Katniss the bread, NOT Gale, and that bread saved her life. Peeta also saved her in the arena. And she talked about her feelings because it was a way to get food from sponsors. You would know that if you read the books...
All that aside, great video, made me smile :)
There is also a scene before the reaping where gale talks to katniss about running away. He brings them lunch which happens to be a piece of bread. I realize the irony now.

I would probably, volunteer for my best friend (who gets chosen), realize that the male tribute helped me out when i severally cut my leg with a figure skate blade, tell my best friend i would try to win for her because we are like sister, train and make people think i amweak, prove myself in the final training and receive a score of 12, fall in love from the male tribute from my district, tell him we should team up, he loves me back, he agrees we should team up, he tells me to run away from the cornucopia, I don't listen, I grab some sort of blade (such as freshly sharpened figure skates), run off to the trees, fall into the splits, scare of the careers with the human pretzel (putting both legs behind my head), fold myself and hide in small holes, get sponsors, avoid getting killed, nobody could find me, the male tribute would survive, we would be forced to chose between the two of us, and since I have two skates, we would slit our own throats but be stopped and be crowned together.
Lol when that count down happens I wouldn't go for the middle I'd just run backwards. Hang in some trees, watch the other players kill themselves, eat some plants, yeah I'd mostly chill in the plant section in the training area. Make some traps, trick players, and just hide until I'm the second last player standing and wait for the other guy to die of starvation. Lol
That might work, but some stumbling blocks/problems along the way...
1. The arena might be a hot, dry desert, or a frozen iceland. There might be no trees or plants, but not likely.
2. You will be cold at night, since you apparently decided not to grab any sleeping bags, or things that keep you warm... Eh.
3. Might be easy to find plants to eat, if you study them at the training arena, but you will be spotted sooner or later, or run out of plants.
4. You might just die from the Gamemakers, since they usually want action and drive the tributes together. Fire charges, monstrosity, y'know.
5. The second last person might NOT be starving, since there probably will be a feast, sponsors, and since you'll be living up in the trees, he'll have the food in the spawn area. UNLIMITED.
6.You'll probably... Die! Just... Die!
Other than that, go on with your plan. Maybe it'll work xD

You are not "obsessed" with the hunger games if you have not read the books. Do not try to say you are a really big fan because you are not. If you say "oh i can not wait to see what happens next", you are not a fan. Any real fan knows what happens next and a part of their soul is dead for it. You have no right to cry or obsess over the movies if you have not read the books. Sometimes I think people forget that they were books in the first place.

Anyone can be obsessed with something if they enjoy it. I'm ashamed we have the same name/nick name. It encumbers me that people like you are out there, honestly you need to try to understand that I (like many others) like the hunger games too. I have all the books and have yet to read them. Honestly they kinda bore me but the movies are great. Maybe that's because I don't enjoy reading. I don't know. But you are NEVER aloud to tell someone they can't like or "obsess" over sow thing because they haven't seen the movies or books. People like you make me ashamed of the human race. If I was in the hunger games I would be district 11 so I would know which plants are edible and which are poisonous. I would run into the bloodbath and get a bag, then I would get a couple of knives. I would then find a source of water and gather edible plants, and the most poisonous one I can think of. I would practice throwing knives until I was ok with them. I would then poison the blades. If I saw another tribute I would throw my knife at them, making them injured and then run away. They would die from the poison and then I would return back and loot their bodies
