Great serie to learn Riichi! I'm surprised this can have so little views
This was a pretty amazing series! Thank you for taking the time to make this. I especially liked the part about the open versus closed hands, as I've been practicing Riichi mahjong on the Android app by Flyout Studios on my tablet, but couldn't figure out for the life of me why I couldn't make some of the patterns to win when I opened my hand. I had no idea that the closed yaku were separate from the open ones. I've only been playing this game for a couple days now, but I love it so far! It also helps that I can read the kanji on the tiles, as I've been studying Japanese for three and a half years now. :D
