Omg how fun!!! 🎄 So reminiscent of my childhood! The granny squares crocheted afghan on the green couch reminded me of the afghan I received 42 years ago from a beloved relative for our wedding!! Yes, my Dad was the one who put the tinsel on the tree-strand by strand! He took it off the same way and packed it away for the next year! ❤

Well- I’m certainly on trend with vintage and glam! I too have more icy formal in my dining and sitting room and the rest of the house is 60s kitsch. Love it all! If that home doesn’t put you in the mood for Christmas, nothing will! Thanx for the enjoyable tour!❤ Merry Christmas!

Oh my ladies!!! This place was just breathtaking and in all colors too!! I loved the plaid room, but most of all the vintage room with the crochet throw on the back of the couch lol...so many homes had those. I loved those big light bulbs that is what everyone had on their tree in the 60s. (was born in the 50s). I have that very Santa bank it was given to me by my aunt in '66 and still have it. That tree with the crystals was just so gorgeous!!! The designers did an excellent job, they are so creative and each room was perfect...Ladies we have to go here each year, thanks for taking us!!! Merry Christmas!!

The sitting room definitely reminds me of my childhood. The crochet blanket, the tinsel on the tree, the Patty Play Play doll under the tree. I actually received one of those dolls as a gift one year. I still have the blanket my Mom crocheted. My Mother also put the tinsel on the tree strand by strand, she was very meticulous. Such great memories, thanks for sharing this amazing place!

Loved the Christmas walk down memory lane! I saw many things that my mother had, which I have now. We had to put the tinsel on one strand at a time as well!! Of course my older brothers got out of that job because they just threw it on! Had to take it off one strand at a time when the tree came down too! Had to be very carefully draped over the cardboard so it wouldn't get all bent for the next year. The original box of tinsel mom had was used over and over, every single year that I was growing up. No throwing things out in the 50's and buying new decorations every year! We always tucked Christmas cards in the tree to fill in any gaps. The trees back then were far from perfectly shaped! Wonderful memories. :) ~~M~~

GOOD AFTERNOON - yes, the 50/60s where tincil (is that spelled right ?) was placed on the tree strand by strand....and when it was done, every time, it was beautiful with all the lights and the shine that went with it. That scalloped metal awning on the reception room fireplace on the brick wall was pure magic!!!!! The incredible windows with the old metal hardware... wow. At 73 in December... the sitting room brought back the most memories! Howdy Doody under the tree, my doll looking up at the tree, the shiny brites and old fashioned lights on the tree... and how we waited for that Christmas coloring book and new box of crayons!!!! And tinsel , of course!!!!! I actually remember that TV with the fabric panel in front. Thanks for the memories.

Karen and Lauren, Thank you so much for bringing us to this adorable museum with you! I absolutely loved it! It certainly took me back to my childhood! When you went to the sofa where the crocheted blanket was on the back, it reminded me of my grandmother’s blanket. And then of all things, down on the floor was beautiful Chrissy, one of my favorite dolls that I waited for Santa to bring me and of course he did! That was so much fun and such a great video I hope you will do it again next year! Thanks again , Luv, Sheryl 💕🎅🏻🎄🦌☕️☕️🍪

I liked the Reception Room because of the nutcrackers. My dad was stationed in Germany (It was called West Germany back then) in the early 80’s and during Christmas time they had nutcrackers everywhere, especially the Christmas Markets which my mom visited as many as she could. And in the sitting room the plaid tablecloth reminded me of my mom because she loved that type of pattern in decor. Those ceramic trees also brought back memories of my mom making a lot of them at the ceramic shop on the Army post where we were living. She made them as gifts for family members and a few still have them. That was about 45 years ago.

Oh, I Loved this tour girls! I can’t pick a true favorite, because they all tugged at my heart. The childhood memories of tinsel my Mom would make sure we put it on strand by strand too, Lauren! That TV playing “ Rudolf” could have come right out of our living room, along with the sofa, and the giant colored lightbulbs, etc. I felt the dining room calling my nam because of all the icicles and glitter and glam, but with taste.. thank you for taking us along for the ride! ❤

Karen and Lauren, this was perfect to get us in the mood for everything Christmasy. Each room was beautiful. I loved the dining room, simply breathtaking. But the one that takes me back is the green couch room too. The coffee table with the snacks and goodies made me think of all the times at my grandparents. The tree was the show stopper. I remember putting on the tinsels, each strand by strand. Oh the garland with the lights too. Thank you sweet ladies for the tour, made me smile. Merry Christmas everyone. Each day is a gift from above, open it with wonder and awe. Kristen

In the reception room I have the tiny Santa cups that were my Mom’s. The room with the couch, my Mamaw always had an afghan that she crocheted that looked just alike.
