I figured that most people who followed him before would have just unsubscribed or left his platform after he professed Christ, never giving his testimony a chance. But you stuck around and listened. I have a friend that has been dragged into the cult world by his girlfriend who studies witch craft and other occult practices...he is getting sucked deeper in and I can't save him.I hope he hears the name Jesus Christ.

Ive seen many his videos already and its just sad that people still seriously continues dividing people and spread the satanic panic in world.
Ive been sort of time believer myself also cuz my parentz teach me to believe like that.
But at some point i couldnt quiet my rational mind anymoe and there started to be too much unanswered questions about those dogmas and bible, that it lead me to the path where i had to do the research myself how things really are and what is the roots of christianity.
There are many deconversion storys in youtube and them was really good help for me to rationalize more my thoughts.
The biggest reason why christianity is BS is cuz of its fear based and therefore spreads poison around with the devil, demons and hell and the one who is responsible of all those rules is god. So, no thank you, you can count me out.
+ bible stories, characters and gospels are nothing but a myth, even it contains names of places which really exist, but it doesnt make it as part of reality.

I will never forget the first time my wife and I watched Steven's testimony. We looked at each other and we were both balling our eyes out with tears of joy for him. We have shown a few other people the same video and wonder why it is so moving for us and how other people simply say, "oh that was nice", when we still cry after watching many times. This young man is doing a mighty work in the name of Christ and has answered his calling by surrendering his life to Christ. I can imagine how much joy his parents must feel and all the glory they give to Christ for the work He has started in their son. Keep fighting the good fight my beloved brother and finish the race. My wife and I would love to meet you some day, but if we don't meet you here in this life we will definitely see you at the Marriage supper of the Lamb.
Tommy Haas I had the same reaction when I first watched his first testimony, it was so fresh and the one he made with the Jewish guy, that’s just as awesome, so uplifting and inspiring... one proof of what God is doing in these end of times.
I absolutely love that Steven has come to Christ and led many in the new age to Christ. What he is doing is incredible.
I didn’t ball when I first saw his testimony though. I’m not even sure I teared up. I think I just remember feeling overjoyed and thinking, “How AWESOME!! God, You are so awesome.” The person who said, “That’s nice,” may have felt truly inspired underneath.” We all express ourselves in different ways. :)
It really hurts when somebody says "oh that was nice." It's like you suddenly discover a huge canyon between your experience and theirs. But maybe they just didn't have ears to hear...yet.

Steven's testimony in his car was a game-changer for me too. I was a the time leaving a New Age Cult, and under massive demonic attack, just before bed his video popped up in my UA-cam recommended videos. I am one of the MANY people Steven has helped lead to Christ, and I related to EVERYTHING he said, the arrogance, self-reliance, works based/gnostic approach to finding God, " Steven, you were so much like me, but there was one key difference, you had been saved, and now so am I"

I have just found jesus coming from New age. I know I'm on the right path. Your video touched me and reinforced what I already know. Jesus is the only way the truth and the light.

I have been around a lot of false teaching in new age and personal development even though I believed in Jesus the whole time. It wasn’t until last year when I attended a seminar that I really saw how dangerous these people who are manipulative and getting people to spend thousands of dollars in order to find their higher selves. so it is all about being in the Bible everyday getting fed by the word of God. Always excited to hear a testimony about someone leaving LDS. I do believe there is a form of self-hypnosis in the LDS religion that can be so difficult to break free from. Not to mention the community and familial ties. Bless you!

I remember when I was practice some of the teachings of new age christianity and I felt like I was doing this world a justice by serving and enlightening them.
Little did I realize I was empty and chasing pleasures to fill the void.
After surrendering my life to Christ again, I was freed and humbled. I realized my only dependence should be from Christ alone. Thank you Steven and This is Me for sharing this incredible testimony.

@@rubenkriel1627 Some in the church hold that any contact with those on the next plane of life must be demonic. Mediums, they assert, speak with demons, and speaking to mediums is forbidden by Biblical mandates. At no time did Jesus say that people who passed out of this life would go into cold storage until a resurrection. It would be remarkable that such an important detail would not have been presented by Jesus during his teaching if it were true. Where is the cold storage and what are people's conditions there? The gospels have no mention of them.
At no time did Jesus speak of a far-distant heaven at all. He said the Kingdom of God (or Kingdom of Heaven) is here; it is within us. The idea of a heaven distant in time, a purgatory, and limbos were entirely created by the church.
At no time did Jesus say people weren't living on another plane of life immediately after passing away.
At no time did Jesus say people should not communicate with their deceased loved ones on the next plane of life. He never mentions mediums, even once.
At no time did Jesus say that if people spoke to loved ones who had passed away, it was really demons speaking.
Where did these ideas come from, then? They were entirely the fabrications of the church after 30 CE. Allowing ordinary people to commune with their loved ones who had passed away, without the intercession of the church, would have given ordinary people direct access to the afterlife and to God. That would have diminished the church's control, and of course, the church would have none of that. And so, the church demonized contact with those in the next plane of life because they weren't the ones administering it.
However, we do have evidence that Jesus knew there is an afterlife into which people go immediately after passing away:
While on the cross, one account has Jesus saying to the thief beside him that the thief would be with him that day in paradise. There was to be no delay for the thief or Jesus; they would be together in paradise the moment they passed away.
Another account has a description of Jesus taking Peter, John, and James with him to a mountain to pray. There, two men appeared, "in glorious splendor," and talked with Jesus. The three disciples recognized the two men as Moses and Elijah. In other words, Moses and Elijah had etheric ("glorified") bodies and were very much alive, not in cold storage, and Jesus spoke to them, undoubtedly listening to their wisdom and counsel. At the time, Moses' body had been disintegrating where he died (on the mountain overlooking the promised land) for 1,200 years, and Elijah's was moldering in the ground for 800 years, so they weren't appearing in those piles of dry bones and dust.
Jesus promised that his disciples and we would be able to do all the things he did and greater things (John 1:50), meaning we are able to commune with those in the next plane of life just as he did, sometimes even when they appear in glorified bodies.
Another account was added to Jesus' teachings by the writer of Luke, and Biblical scholars agree that it probably did not come from Jesus; it was added by first-century Christians. However, it shows that first-century Christians did not believe that the deceased went into cold storage. In fact, they believed that people who pass away are immediately met and guided by those on the other side. In Luke 16:22, the writer describes a begger dying. The writer reports that upon death, angels on the other side of life "carried him to Abraham's side." There, the begger was very much alive and with Abraham as a living person. If the early Christians had had a notion of cold storage for millennia, that passage would not have been written or would not have remained in the text as it was circulated.
Still another account reports that Jesus told his disciples that his Father's house has plenty of room and he would go to prepare a place for them. He then said he was going to come back for them (not in life, obviously, but when they died) and take them there. There is no statement such as "For a few millennia, you'll be in cold storage, but after the judgment you'll have a room with your name on it." He was making a clear reference to greeting them when they passed away and entered the next plane of life.
Jesus spoke later in that account of going to be with the Father, God, and being available for the disciples to communicate with. He said they could ask him to do things and he would do them on the other side of life. In other words, Jesus had a very clear conception that his life would continue and that he would be available to communicate with the disciples, although people would not be able to see him. That is a perfect description of the next plane of life where people are able to walk among us and see us, but we can't see them.
You have been brainwashed by organized religion. The bible does not forbid communication with the dead.

This is everything I found myself too I lost my job my everything but I gain so much more with him he’s love , he’s compassion I will never be ashame what I have found he has live through me and has giving me so much messages and he saves me so many times , I do believe the impossible is possible , I also got rid of new age stuff the books of secret and the law of attraction, is so much easier to just walk with faith.

I have a very similar story Steven, I grew up in a Christian home and over time fell away from the faith, got into spiritualism and following myths about aliens. Got into psychedelics and experienced so called enlightenment, I had third eye visions, astral projections, and lucid dreaming. It was a strong delusion for sure. But funny enough in my exploration I had a traumatic experience which led me to God and was able to experience Him in a more real sense. I have since repented of my sins and walk daily in prayer with the Lord and feel Him opening up to me new pathways, God is good! Thank you for sharing your testimony!

This is so close to my experience from the new age into finding Christ. Jesus will show up. I remember getting to such a low point in my life I was just praying to "Love" because I knew that was real and true. And then I remembered hearing in my mind... that Jesus said He was the way, the truth, and the life. So I prayed and I said out loud in my prayer, "I am not gonna leave here until you show up, and within the hour of praying, and pouring out my heart He showed up. And in His gentle way, He reminded me that He had made ME. And that anytime I had ever loved....or had experienced love in return...that was HIM. "We love, because HE first loved us!" It's not the same Jesus that has been created/branded by the world, you have to UNLEARN that "Jesus", ask to KNOW the TRUTH, and I promise the TRUTH will SHOW UP!

When God saved me I was at the peak of New Age and living " the dream" as well. The carnal dream... thank you Jesus for saving us from what we didnt know was hurting us. It's been so hard to adjust to a completely new reality. I am so used to creating my own reality, satisfying my desires, instant gratification, surrounded by people, places things and music and magic. I've had to drop everything like you and it's a trip. Jesus is Lord Amen and he changes everything.

What does it profit a man to gain the world but lose his soul? I was there too, I had projections and was deep in new age myself. I feel guilt also, but that guilt isn't bad, it keeps us from straying again. Guilt and fear can be our best friend in this fallen world. It brings repentance, which is necessary for spiritual growth. Being a true Christian can be a hard sell, because the truth means to take up your own cross and follow. Not an easy road but it is living in truth.
What a blessing to see what Jesus has done in Steven's life and the way God continues to use Him. Amazing, God is so good

Steven, thank you for sharing your testimony! You are a voice of discernment for me. As a pastor living in Germany I am confronted with new age an occultism. There is almost no Bible-based information about this topics in german. Your testimony and experience helped me a lot in dealing with this issues!
I literally got goose-bumps & shivers (even though it's summer) when Steven said "I've tasted everything the world has to offer, & it left me beyond broken, beyond empty." And now, it's reminding me of this: "For what does it benefit someone if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?" (Mark 8:36.) Also remember that it was materialism that the devil offered Jesus before he started his ministry, basically offering materialism in exchange for Jesus's sOuL! Sinless as Jesus was, he's the one who was willing to take upon himself the punishment for mankind's sins & for each individual's sins & offer us salvation if we repent & accept him as Lord. He's the one who fought for us & suffered for our sake & was willing to lay down his life for us. That's how much he loves us. He knows what's truly best for us & wants that for us, including eternal life. Thank you Steven for sharing your story. And thank you Y'shua/Jesus for what you did for us! you need to keep going! you are a walking testimony for the Truth of Christ!! You are doing exactly what we need, to expose the dangers to believers that open up to wanting supernatural but are going in the wrong direction because they don't know Supernatural is God's creation, and Through Jesus we can walk in it. All other roads lead to hell. Here on earth and for eternity. God Bless you Steven and I pray a supernatural hedge of protection around you. We need to always pray for protection, the enemy does not like us!
I’m going to share something with you. I’m currently on a leave of absence from work and part of getting treatment is to take medication (antidepressant) and see a therapist or psychiatrist. I was referred to participate in an intensive outpatient treatment program and today the mental health therapist/instructor brought up the topic of “mindfulness”. I have seen Steven’s videos before and follow him along with Doreen Virtue because I too was practicing the new age stuff. Mindfulness is being encouraged and pushed by medical and mental health professionals stating it is a great thing and why it works. Nothing negative or true is said as to why it’s dangerous, but after the group ended I shared with the instructor that it is dangerous and to look into it because many individuals don’t know how to close doors that shouldn’t be open aka meditation and or tapping into their higher self as they call it. I explained that I did it before and thankfully I stopped on my own a few years ago, but now that I am a restored Christian in Jesus Christ I am aware that the only way is Jesus Christ. Therapist also mentioned that praying and being in the faith was part of mindfulness because I was in the “present” and that’s the point of all of it. It’s to avoid negative thoughts, cognitive distortions, be calm and be in the present moment. I came to my conclusion that I would not argue with a professional who held a degree and would leave it up to God to take care of it because only until they go through why it’s a dangerous practice will they understand. I can only share my experience and hope to God someone will listen.

I can relate so much to this beautiful testimony. The devil is the greatest deceiver.He is truly the father of all lies. I used to smoke weed every chance I could get. I would rave , drink, and party so much it started to effect me in college. I was so good at hiding my double life from my Christian family. One day I took a big tab of acid and had a really terrible trip. I saw really scary and strange things during those hours on the psychedelic. I felt like I was going to die.I was being tormented by demonic voices in my head. I remembered what my parents taught me about the Lord, so I started to cry out and ask for forgiveness. I repented for my sins and started to feel calmer by the minutes. Since that day , I have had many encounters with the Almighty God. I stopped the drug use, the drinking, the new age philosophies I had been practicing. I am forever grateful to God for delivering me from many strongholds that I had. I am not perfect, but with God all things are possible. When I am weak he makes me strong. Thank you for this amazing testimony!

@@1Love1717 pray for him more than you try to talk to him. It has helped my husband so far when I keep him in prayer instead of trying to persuade him, Especially when I ask Saint Mary to help him. She was a wife and mother and understands us. Hope this helps.
Thank You. I will start doing that more. Reading your comment made me realize that I haven't been praying like I should. I keep telling him to pray to God, but that's not happening, so I need to start praying for him more.
After 40 yrs of seeking God, I have seen so many paths that claimed to lead to Jesus. Several that I thought were right but abandoned because they opened the door to darkness. Now, I am convinced the path is really narrow but it’s the safest one for me
Steven, I was a subscriber of yours and listened to so many great things and apologetics. Will you consider doing a program or apologetics about the Roman Catholic church? I was raised Catholic and loathed it, trying to bend to all of their roles. I feel as if Roman Catholicism still haunts me in negative ways. All this despite me having walked with Jesus almost 40 years. Thanks!

You found His love which changes us, molds us into the best version we can be not because of rules but because of His love. When someone gives their all for you out of sheer love, how can we not want to give our everything to them?

I am in a very similar place right now. I went from being completely devoted to Christ, to being devoted to myself. Journeying into psychedelics to see what was “really going on” beneath the surface. What DMT, LSD, and Mushrooms showed me, was the immense perfection of creation. And that just left me more puzzled, but never feeling completed. One night, not long after finding out I was expecting to be a father, I broke down and asked God why I hated myself so much, and why I felt so dead inside. And he replied “You gave your life to me, then you wanted to take it back. So I let you.” And after that, somehow I came across Steve Mackie and his teachings with The Bible Project. Where a lot of my questions would start to get answered almost immediately. Completely perplexed, my fiancé and I decided to go to church for the first time in 10+ years. Now I’m glorifying Jesus with the worship team, and working to become a leader so I may reach out to those who have had similar experiences.
Here I am, a 28 year old man, seeking the wisdom that a 16 year old boy once walked with. I believe in the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I believe that one day our Earth will once again be in union with God and we will no longer be in spiritual warfare with wickedness. As the way God intended in the garden.

I’ve recently been born again as of Nov. 2018. I always believed in God and became a lukewarm Christian over time. I did shrooms, drank, but mostly smoked pot everyday. I look back and can’t believe how patient Jesus has been waiting for me (I’m 39). I have been saved by an angel or Jesus (not sure at the time) at least twice, but possibly 3 times.
A voice told me to let off the gas pedal when I was going through an intersection, as soon as I did, a truck blew a stop sign that would have killed me. I also fell asleep at the wheel another time and WOKE up while driving sitting upright and very much positioned like a robot. I ended up on the other side of town somehow! Fell into a pool’s deep end as a child, somehow my mother knew to check on me and pulled me out.
I had another experience where I was praying for a relative that was brutally murdered and burned alive years prior. I was HIT like a sledgehammer with unexplainable peace and joy. Instantly tears poured out of my eyes and I had the breath sucked out of me, totally winded. It was like I was experiencing the joy of heaven but my human body could not handle it! I also experienced an interaction with several demons in the basement of a psychic lady’s house who summoned them and spoke to them nightly. The fear and anger I felt as their eyes pierced my soul was like nothing of this earth......,over and over and over Jesus was calling me!!! I was too much of a fool to notice, even though I believed in Him!
In November of 2018, after a minor argument with my fiancée, I heard a demon’s voice talk to me telepathically in my mind- “I hate you, I’ll kill you and tear your family apart.” With the most conviction in my soul I commanded that thing to leave my house in the name of Jesus Christ. Every room in the house I yelled at it. I felt our Lord blast through my house and beat those things down! Whoosh gone! I prayed and thanked him and repented for allowing them to get close to me. He talked to me telepathically asking me questions and made me feel the guilt of my sins. Lots of information as a sort of psychic download into my heart and mind simultaneously. Question 1: “After all I’ve done for you, what have you done for Me, and others?” Question 2: “Am I NOT enough for you?” Then, the weight of my sins lifted, it was incredible.
Since that moment, I’ve had no desire to drink, smoke, blaspheme, masterbate, be angry, stressed out or sin at all. Wanting to share love with no other possible explanation. I notice the tiniest signs he puts in my path....I see them right away and chuckle, seeing He really does work in mysterious ways. I fully understand how to have a relationship with him and not need to physically see or hear our relationship. He is incredible people! Let him into your heart! I had felt in my soul the the extremes of joy and sorrow through just some of my life experiences..... Feeling the presence of God and Satan deep inside through strange encounters. For that, I am blessed to KNOW Christianity is the truth, yet I STILL tried to not fully commit.
He wants us all to repent and accept Him. He actually told me this! Don’t think you can sin all your life and God will be OK with it. He really will reward you if you follow with all your heart!! This is powerful, thank you for answering the call. With this new age stuff it really just seems feel good for a lot of people. I feel it difficult to even broach to some people and say seriously this is not the one, you are opening yourself to open channels and demonic spirits that you cannot imagine. It is sad and can be so challenging to pull friends away from the burning sage, crystals, chakra life because as a christians I guess it can sound so negative. Grateful that I can send videos of your accounts and pray through the holly spirit that the message reaches them.
It seems like something happened around that time when you stopped believing in the New Age. Around that same time, I stopped believing it and several other people I know of did too.

One thing is, believers of the new age stuff are typically more intelligent and not as sheep like as your typical masses (more open to all of the insane stuff) on the verge of a true breakthrough
