This was my most listened song on Spotify for 2021, great cover! I'm trying to learn it but find it hard to make the main riff sound clean, needing to rest my picking hand pinky on the strings below to stop accidental noise when hammer and pulling of to open strings.

this was was awesome, thank you! i learned most of this by watching ben eller, but, you put it all together and it seems to flow. i was also downpicking everything, i like your alternate picking style better...and i need to work on the triplets, mine dont sound quite right. thanks again man!
Glad it helped! I watched some live videos and both Joe and Christian do alt picking for the intro/chorus so I copied. It does make it flow a bit easier I feel over down picking.
Thank you, I do slightly pluck my pull offs with my fretting hand to get it to ring out better, but I try not to do it too hard than it bends out of pitch before releasing.

why not use archetype gojira plugin to play gojira?
I only had it for the trial period and never got round to buying it so just using what I do have
