Love how the parents and Alice played along with the kids' career choices and encouraged them, probably knowing they'd change their minds several times before ultimately choosing a career. I would have them get books from the library (or look stuff up on the internet) about their choice of the week so they could learn about it, it will help them know what their interests and aptitudes are.
..THIS, is why the Bradys (albeit fictional), are so revered; Mike & Carol aren't pushing their Children into occupations they 'feel' is best for them, they're letting them FIND it...with light, mental support (0:37), which influences them, to seek & discover it MORE....(1:22) .... Cindy would be a great Gossip Columnist. Peter says he's only 2 years younger than Greg. But in the series finale (hair tonic) episode, Greg & Peter spoke about Peter starting HS the year after Greg would graduate.
@@RBS_I had 3 sisters. I remember people congratulating my father that we were all good looking and so he didn't need to worry about college as we could all catch husbands. My brother was the only one that had a college fund. Very typical for that time.
I think Peter should look into owning and running a bicycle store. Or get an ice cream / soft serve franchise. I bet he’d be good at those professions.
I don't remember what carreer he ended up having, but I think he would do quite well in real estate. He's charismatic, ended up arguably the most attractive (which shouldn't be a factor in sales but it is) and real estate agents do a lot of work on their own. He wouldn't get paid the commission if he slacked off and let someone else do the work.
@@AndrewMacLaine His career varied a little. When Marcia and Jan had their double wedding, he was in the military (AF?) Then at Christmas later on, he was in advertising and I think his girlfriend was his boss. Or she was in a higher position than him and made more money.
Greg became a doctor, Peter got in the Army, and Bobby became a football player. I'm blurry on what the girls became. I think Marsha became a writer though.
I remember being a kid and trying to figure out what I wanted to do, never had a lot of support from my parents or relatives though. Also Mr. Brady has an afro starting I notice.
2:10 " Im the DR.." ... that means I'll be in your room for about 45 seconds at 7:00 in the morning and the nurse will be with you for the next 13 hours and she will tell me everything that's wrong with you and then I will get paid to tell her what to give you for it, I mean order what she tells me to order for it😅
Peter is so flighty, I’m convinced he had ADHD. Knowing how he got fired from his job as a bicycle mechanic and later from the ice cream parlor, doctor is probably not in the cards for him. If anything, nursing would probably fit better of the two professions. Although, I’ve been wondering why he wasn’t asked to be a salesman first instead of a technician. In my work, cashier is bottom of the totem pole. Honestly, he would’ve been great at that.

Notice how Peter wanted to be a doctor and Jan wanted to be a nurse when she could have been a doctor too.
Go cry to MSNBC.
@@sylviaisgod6947Women’s Lib was already in full swing in the 70s yet the writers still had Jan being the nurse
@@UCLAfilm01 I realize that. That's how it was at that time.
Jan got to be an architect and it was Greg who became a Doctor.
And Peter could of been a nurse too.
Greg ended up being a doctor, Jan ended up being an architect

Greg- doctor, Marcia- housewife/caterer, Peter- enviromentalist, Jan architect, Bobby- racecar driver/ business, Cindy- DJ
Wow, this is blowing up like on Twitter.
Bobby later in his tv/Brady life became a NASCAR driver, but then became paralyzed and wheel chair bound

I can't believe they used the take at 3:10 where Cindy looks at the camera briefly.
She's acting like she's on a quiz show.
They were on a very tight budget and had cheap producer. No do overs.
Good catch!
I never would have noticed that because my attention was on the person speaking, Bobby.
I wonder if Alice aspired to be a maid when she was younger? LOL.
And Marsha is the only one undecided at this point... or just not very motivated?
...you SEEN how she looks, right!? ..why WORK!?? ..ha-HAA!

Marcia just wanted to live life and probably figured that her looks would get her into acting. 😂

peter would make a horrible doctor. He always gets fired. The only job he was good at was selling sunflower cookies.
Well, he did end up working for his dad's campaign and outperformed his brother-in-law, Wally.

Greg became a doctor but that was just cliched writing (oldest son becomes a doctor). Greg never had any inclination to become a doctor.
@@crpsaiyanOutperforming Wally wasn’t hard to do. He failed at everything

No Brady Bunch uploads this week. What gives?

Cindy a model? This is a comedy...
Jan lookin so thin!
All the girls are in this show, they always were
Terrific diseases😂
Bad episode, not funny whatsoever.
