Thanks! Yes, it will hold without putting my feet on the ground. As purchased, it does not come with the bungee material so you can adjust as needed based on weight and height from floor to ceiling. It does take a little experimenting to get it just right and looping the bungee material a few times.
Preferable would it have been had you given us a full view of the jumper-john pants, including metal bar and bungee-cords, and found some way of covering your face to do that, since you wanted to not reveal your face. The shoulders-to-floor view was a constant reminder of something missing, that we were viewing a truncated view of the full harness in which we could have seen how this jumper-john would work in action. Disappointing if one is comparing it to other jumper-john makers and their offerings, where one can see the action of the suspenders/bungee attachments to the girdle working and how they work with the upper torso inside of them (do they rub against the chest or back? are the length of the suspender-straps plus the bungee cord too long for our choice/availability of suspension equipment (yoga pole, patient lift, or swing-set equipment) To some of us who are looking for a "walking-gait" therapy harness that's comfortable and cheery in appearance as compared to the merely functional-look and feel of medical supply offerings, a view of the upper part of the assembled harness, metal bar, and bungee would have been very informative, indeed for everyone, actually. Nonetheless, thank you for your detailed view and description of what you made visible in video.
