- These Levain bakery style chocolate chip walnut cookies are made with more nutritious ingredients and are very delicious and decadent. Crunchy edges and crust and a soft decadent center with lots of molten chocolate and crunch from toasted walnuts. These cookies are a real treat!
Ingredients:
200g - Unsalted Butter
1/2 cup - Jaggery
1/2 cup - Raw Sugar
2 tsp - Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp - Baking soda
1/4 tsp - Salt
2 cups - Wholewheat flour
1 cup - Chocolate Chips
1/4 cup - Chopped Walnuts
1/3 cup - Milk

Thank you! I am happy you like it 😊 You can try different nuts with chocolate chips like peanuts or Hazelnut. Other flavours can be white chocolate with freeze dried berries, or make them kaju kishmish cookies.

Yes you definitely can. If you want a soft center, the baking time may be just 10 mins. Check that the colour has turned golden brown and it smells of butter and vanilla, not raw flour. If you want them crunchy, bake them for 15 mins.

This cookie size is very big...Can we make small size and also ghee instead of butter..What is the measurement of ghee
Hi, you can make these cookies smaller. Bake them for 10 mins for a softer center, for 15-20 mins for a crunchy cookie. You can use 180g of ghee. You may need 1-2 tbsp more milk for the cookie dough as butter has more moisture.

So so confused, Butter is in Grams and the rest of the ingredients are in Cups? How am I supposed to know which cup to use? What is 1 cup, is it 100gms?
