Loved the video, from beginning to end. My birthstone is Aquamarine, have had the pleasure of owning a blue santa maria Aquamarine 6x9mm pear shaped. Gave it away as a gift. I wish you guys can talk about welo opal and it's different patterns. Mi fav is honeycomb and the ones with tree roots as inclusions.
WOW! This was great guys! Such beautiful stones and beautiful people! I really love this channel and what it stands for, with all the knowledge that is imparted to us, it is priceless. Thank you!
I don't really accept pearl as the birthstone for June. Pearls are pretty but I think that organic stones don't really count (in my eyes at least) June also currently has alexandrite and moonstone as officially accepted birthstones as well. (Alexandrite seems kinda weird since it's so incredily rare and expensive, but rainbow moonstone is much more affordable)
I'm also an amethyst birthstone, but I recently discovered green amethyst. I know most of them are treated - I believe they are heat treated to bring out the green tones and make them green - but they are so lovely. I do believe that there are some areas where you can dig up a large amethyst cluster you can get the purple and then a band of white crystal and then a band of green on top of that. But I might be remembering that incorrectly.
February birthday so amethyst here! 🙋🏻♀️I really like sapphires, emeralds, citrine, topaz and watermelon tourmaline, too. I'm not really a fan of opals. I think it's because I prefer the faceted stones to cabachons but the natural fire though is phenomenal. My Nana always thought opals were something connected to witchcraft and didn't like them for that reason. Bad magic she said. Not sure where that comes from 😁
Brilliant, Peridot is my birthstone. I’ve got one I love with Ludwigite-vonsenite inclusions splaying out from the centre. I know it’s from Pakistan. Who says inclusions aren’t of any value, to me they add value. Lovely birthstone video. Thank you for sharing.
I have one too! One is clear, yellowish green with some lilypad inclusions and one is a deeper grass green with the Ludwigite inclusions. They are both beautiful!
@@John081590 Oh wow, yea the Lilly pad inclusions are quite unique and are another fingerprint of the stone. Many people despise the colour, but I love it. I’m glad someone else out there appreciates inclusions in gemstones. Thanks for taking your time to reply.
I never really thought about the birthstones of months other than my own and my wife's. It's pretty cool to learn about the birthstones of the other months. Thank you! The new website is great!
My birthday was a week ago, so I'm a sapphire baby. How I love my birthstone, I also love amethyst, topaz and garnet. Amethyst being one of my favorites.
This was great! I just bought a rhodolite garnet and I love it. I also own a chrome diopside, to me it's more gorgeous than any emerald that I've seen.
December birthstones were always zircon and turquoise. It was only changed to blue topaz when zircon became less available and It doesn't help that many people associate zircon with cubic zirconia. Zircon is a beautiful stone, it's a shame it seems to have become the forgotten December birthstone.
Garnet here. Jan 10th, but, almost the 11th. Born close to midnight. As a blizzard came to cover everything white. So I was told. Haha. I'm not a fan of the cold, by the way. So glad my stone isn't white. But moonstone could work nicely.
My birthstone is Emerald. The way I see it, no other green gemstone can beat the abundant and radiant green of an Emerald. Personally, green is one of my favorite colors, so I really love the fact that I am tied to the elegant, glorious Emerald.
Love sapphires and their star symbolism. And a star sapphire that also color changes? Perfection. Honestly. September should have its own stars and asters holiday -and the two zodiac constellations are literally the goddess of justice and her scales, who Also gave her name to aster family flowers and sapphires so-
There are no color CHANGE sapphire. There is color SHIFT sapphire as mentioned in the video. Color change, such as in alexandrite, is a different phenomenon than color shift, as in sapphire.
Good morning. Very informative and fantastic video lesson. One more birthstone for December is Tanzanite and March is bloodstone also correct. Mine is acquamarine 14march thanks and regards Altaf
So, still wearing that canary yellow diamond ring into Dec... Wonder if it ever made it back into the box. Also pink tourmaline is also a birthstone for Oct.
Wow, it's amazing to know many facts about all the birthstones we know.😃🤩💎🎂 Finally got a video about them. My birthstone is diamond and it's fascinating to know they come in many colors.🥳💎 All are so beautiful, my favorites are the amethyst💜, sapphire💙 and opal🌈⚪ gemstones. Thanks for teaching us about them. Nice video and see you later.😉🥳👍💎
You may consider earrings as an alternative, as they are less likely than a ring to be knocked into something. Also, spinel is listed as an alternate August birthstone, and is much harder.
Very pretty... Thumbprints are a little bit turn off though... It just kind of pulls down the clarity factor... I expect to see clear and clean gems...

Garnet....except blue Dislike the use of term 'make' when talking about the location of origin of a gemstone. They don't "make" as much as "find". What no alternative stones?
June. Alexandrite. I love all of these stones, though. ❤
June has other stones the oldest I could find was moonstone, then alexandrite.
Thank goodness, pearls are kind of for the more mature person and if given as a gift may not always be appropriate. And in my June born opinion ugly 😆
Yeah kinda disappointed they only showed pearl for June, but showed others for other months...
I love my pearls but Alexandrite should have been shown. I do not know much about moonstone.
Pearls and alexandrite are the original
@@deannaallen4670 they have a show on moonstones. You might want to check it out.
I love how once that diamond went on her finger it never came off. ;}
My birth stone is opal. Such a gorgeous gem!

Opals do not have tree roots as inclusions. They are iron or manganese dendrites.
Are you thinking maybe of amber instead of opal?
Mine is Pearls since I’m a June baby! I absolutely LOVE 💕 pearls! They’re classic & enhance anyone wearing it!
WOW! This was great guys! Such beautiful stones and beautiful people! I really love this channel and what it stands for, with all the knowledge that is imparted to us, it is priceless.
Thank you!
November it's kinda jacked up that sapphire or September get the full color range but in November we only have orange and December robbed our blue
Right? I'm a November baby too and I've always hated topaz. My skin has a lot of yellow undertone and topaz just doesn't look very good against it.
July Ruby my favorite gemstone and Diamond and Sapphire and emeralds

My birthstone is amethyst. One color, many shades. Deep purple, medium purple, lavender, lilac...

I think its Easy to tell, Emeralds my Birthstone, and I love it so much!
“i must be awake because september has ended”
haha, nice.
For June, isn't the alexandrite also the birth stone?
December birthstones were always zircon and turquoise. It was only changed to blue topaz when zircon became less available and It doesn't help that many people associate zircon with cubic zirconia.

You did not mention Alexandrite for June. I am not a lover of pearls and I prefer Alexandrite, a beautiful color change gem.

Tsavorite Garnets color does.

Another cute video people. Stunning!! How come you guys didn't cover Tourmaline ? Anyway good job as always!!!
October! Opal/Pink Tourmaline
I think that the Ethiopian opals are the best - even better than the Australian opals.
Fantastic video great presentation, knowledge, an specimens same as yours ,diamond, thank you
June has 2 birthstones. You should have done alexandrite

Hey, snails are also mollusks.
For December, its birth stone is either Turquoise or Blue Zircon --- Not (irradiated) Blue Topaz
You forgot the Imperial Alexandrite for June which has a choice between pearls and the alexandrite.
October has tourmaline too 😢
what no alexandrite for June. Lightening ridge opal for Oct.
Why only pearl for June ?
I don't see the connection between a birthday and a stone! what's the connection?
I wish they would post there music.

I thought that turquoise was December's birth stone.
What about blue zircon for December?
I want to get my daughter a birthstone ring for her sweet sixteen August birthday. But peridot is not very hard. Any thoughts?
You may consider earrings as an alternative, as they are less likely than a ring to be knocked into something. Also, spinel is listed as an alternate August birthstone, and is much harder.
Ummm, Peridot is a 6.5-7 on the mohs scale. It is plenty hard. Just as hard as any quartz
Very pretty... Thumbprints are a little bit turn off though... It just kind of pulls down the clarity factor... I expect to see clear and clean gems...
Lets see. Are we going old school? Or by Typh & Co? Per Typh there's 2-3 stones per month. Ole school.🥰
Isn't bloodstone another birthstone for March
Rose quartz is an October birthstone
Emerald
