OUR FAVORITE way to make HIDDEN PAPERCLIPS! Very EASY!

- We've been exploring ways to make altered & hidden paperclips to use in our journals and this is definitely one of our top favorites. You can use single-sided paper, there's no measuring, and they're sooooooooo easy to make. We especially love that you can use your stash of 6x6 paper for these. They're useful for clipping ephemera onto junk journal pages, and as handy bookmarks. We think you'll love them. :)
We were inspired by a video by UA-camr @Pinkstrawberryz 💗🍓

Love this idea! So much prettier as a bookmark than a plain old exposed paperclip.
I agree! And now that I think about it, less likely to bend the pages

Can’t wait to try this!
This is amazingly easy!! I find myself avoiding covered paperclips like this because I can't ever remember the "formula" for making them. But, this one is a no-brainer! Thank you for the inspiration!
I'm the same way! Even with this one I needed to make a few to "cement" the technique in my head, but once you make a few they're like potato chips & you'll want to keep making them 😄🥰
So Simple Thanks!!!!
Very nice!! Love these!!
Great

I loved your tutorial; will definitely be making these. The watering can and flowers is adorable. Is that a die set?
Thank you! I've been trying to remember where i got that - it's a sticker - I'm thinking either a dollar store or a thrift store. If I remember or see them again I'll post another comment 🤗
@@lovelyvillaindesignsThank you for replying. That water can is so stinking cute 🥰
Yes! I love that it's a little shaker, too
Love this, I am obsessed with paperclips and bookmarks too! Thank you for no background music too, such a nice video.
@@chewar7537 So glad you enjoyed it!
Does anyone else not have a major gap on inside that’s not glued down?
Aside from the open part where the paperclip is, there will also be a section on the back side that won't be glued down. If it feels like it'll get in the way you could go ahead and glue it before you finish gluing the flap on the front, or glue one side and make a little pocket out of it :) (hope that makes sense!)
@@lovelyvillaindesigns So at the step where you your the small flap to the back side then look at it all complete from the side that whole inside part isn’t glued down and is bulky.
@@lovelyvillaindesigns It seems like the piece that is folded up the front should be glued down.
I think I know which section you mean. It's the outer layer on the back side, before you fold it over the top and glue that final flap. For me, a good crease does the trick, but you could definitely glue that section if you don't want it open there.
@@lovelyvillaindesigns Okay thank you! I’ll try that! Appreciate your feedback greatly!! ❤️
So Lovely! Is the watering can from a digital image?
Thank you! It's a sticker I picked up at a thrift store, along with some others in the video :)
Fun! New subbie here. TYFS Lori June
