hey I also have the 2 year warranty for my ps5 from geek squad, my ends in March 2023, a couple days ago I had a party, had friends playing ps5 I can't remember if they ejected the disc properly, or even shut off the console properly, I've thinking and kind of worried if my console is still working normally, which is still running smoothly but idk if should take it to geek squad to have a peace of mind just to see if it's working strong? what should I do?
If it is running smoothly it should be fine. There has not been any issues with the disc drives. The biggest issue with PS5s was the GPU which would give you errors and other visual issues(Mostly Common on Launch Systems). But I personally think you should be good. My PS5 is 2 years old now and used daily and no issues have shown but it is entirely up to you of course. I have messed with my PS5 too. I have a Dust Cover on my PS5 that I put on when I am done using it. Well let me tell you I have forgotten to take it off a few times and finally notice when the fan spins up full blast scaring the crap out of me. These systems are built to last Believe it or not. I have multiple ps2s going for 20+ years and ps3s going 12 plus years. Good Luck.
I called best buy and complained supposedly they sending me a new one and a follow up call. I'll give them a day or two if I haven't heard anything from them
@@nyeale1213 if possible go directly through the store. If you have an insurance protection plan for your controller just bring in your old controller and they'll give you a brand new replacement one you might have to pay the difference and purchase a new insurance policy

You're better off buying a controller separate with the two year warranty. They would just exchange it out
I don’t like how your warranty don’t get a new control and used one

I had the same problem with a Xbox controller. Apparently your 2 year warranty is over after one replacement? I swapped mine out though in the store.
I'm going to go try today. Hopefully I get mine in store too
@@JawannL hey I know this was like 5 months ago but how did it go when you went there?
