    👍 Self rescue is always advisable to be fully aware of prior to even getting started and out to sea, and marine safety and confidence throughout every form of Windsurfing will also increase your abilities to learn and advance in the sport more easily.

    But this doesnt work with small boards (at least I tried it with a 104L and 5,4m^2 sail)

      Correct, however it works great on boards 9' 2" and more volume. Lower the boom all the way down in the boom opening, then controlled drop. It also works best if mast track is forward. And usually in 5-12 mph winds, the boards are bigger and longer.
