Bro, the fishpond travel case...built for carry on, I brought five rods, six reels, rain jacket and thermals on my last trip with no issues. Also, Argentina is weird about flying, so leave your fly line/reel spools and salt water flies in your checked bag
I once temporarily shut down Pittsburgh airport with a sage rod tube. It jammed the conveyor belt and caused a fire in an attic somewhere. Lol, still use that tube and rod all the time!
Never felt smarter in my life! I’ve got that same tube and been schlepping multi-rods for years! Thought I was a dork, until today! Unless I’m just another dork?
So just to be clear…My 29 inch travel case CAN go in the over head bin? Also can I have a regular carry on and my rod be my personal luggage? I just want all my stuff on the plane 😂 HELP! Next trip is in 2 weeks!!
Flying out to Colorado this May. I bought a telescoping spinning rod that'll fit in my backpack. I'll tie a fly on, use a bobber for casting weight...in my street clothes...on the bank...near the guy standing in ankle deep water, a foot from shore wearing full chest waders, special fly fishing hat, glasses, neck/face coverer thingy, and all the dang hanglies on his vest...and I'll probably catch just as many, if not more! I'll probably get out-fished....but at least I won't look like a douche! (joking, of course....I won't get out-fished!!!)
Yeah, funny but not useful. You forgot to mention you sometimes cannot fly with flies for fly fishing while flying to some countries...like Mexico! They will make you check them! Also pliers cannot be more than 6-6.5” long.
I am a HUGE lover of no f@*ken snow in the winters.
Huge…..

yea this is the best way to travel w/ rods, orvis makes one too and there are some cheaper knock offs as well
@@bradvgvg you're right! The orvis one is a little better IMO because it keeps your rods in a completely separate compartment from your reels.

Another hilarious video. Now I know how to pack for Wyoming on Wednesday. Hopefully I dont freeze my ass off.
Good luck in Wyoming. Don’t tell them you know anyone from Colorado.
I just... all this sounds solid, but I trust you indefinitely when you have Miller High Life in your hand.
You can look forward to more beer inclusion.

"Counter balance" HAHAHAHAHA
I'm going to save "Distance wrap" for some point in the future, but almost certainly remember it 10 seconds too late and totally blow the opportunity.
