I really want a 36, but I just bought a few different trad bows and if I bought another bow right now, especially that one, my wife would kill me. I hold on to bows like people hold on to firearms. I will try snag one up later this year.
Wow, that is one heavy bow! I think I would have problems with that much weight. I am surprised by your choice after watching your previous intro to your bow options for this year. People who critique another archer's draw weight are clueless and not worthy of your time or consideration! I've been an archer for over 60 years and I only shoot what I can shoot comfortably. If you try to shoot more than that, your accuracy will suffer. I would have no problem even hunting at 45 lbs because I know I would shoot that bow very accurately and accuracy is way more important than arrow speed. Some folks who are in the hunting industry have huge egos and again, they don't deserve your time or attention.

I think the Kairos would be perfect for a 3D bow. Holds great and gets great speed for it's specs. Very efficient bow.

I use my D-loop to fine tune my draw length. You could probably have a custom mod made if you really had to.

Is it dumb to go to a ASA shoot with a hunting setup? Or do I need to plan to get a new bow before that?
There are a ton of classes, including hunter setup, pins only etc.
