I see an Alex Albon podium in 2024. Williams spent virtually the entire season working on the 2024 car and adding downforce in particular.
I'm going to have a wild prediction that Haas will hit a breaking point in 2024 if they don't hit the ground running and either Gene will sell (not to Andretti), Gunther will be sacked, or both. Agree with Norris though as it's about time, but Spielberg might be a controversial choice being Red Bull's home track. We'll see how well both teams do in the first half of the season.
That's fair. Haas will have to change SOMETHING, especially if Nico goes "I'm out, peace!".
Spielberg controversial? I haven't heard voices calling Charles a fraud just because he won the race ahead of Max.
@@parrotantics2046 You haven't heard those voices because there aren't any. No need for the snark... My meaning was that it's Red Bull's home circuit where they do a bunch of testing and with how dominant they were last year it'd be very bold to think Norris would out-do them. We're not going to really know until the season starts.
@@illiniarmory3142 Gunther seems more interested in being popular than actually doing his job, guy seems like a bit of a clown.
I like how the Max Verstappen Mech Dnf is actually a prediction hahaha. It’s actually insane he didn’t get a single one in a race in 2023. I believe the same. Alonso victory hehe :)
Well statistically at some point he's got to get a mechanical DNF eventually.
Ha-ha In anyone's fantasy world, anything is possible....... even an Alonzo victory. ha - ha
My 2024 F1 prediction is that Law will climb that ladder approximately 349 times
My prediction is that nobody will call Sauber "Stake F1 Team". Not because they don't like the name or local laws, but because they are going to be more anonymous than ever.
um watched this in the afternoon & now coming back here in the evening to report that GUENTHER has been fired as of 30 mins ago?????
If the RB20 is as reliable as Newey's mclaren cars were, we may see a steering wheel get thrown
That's what I fear when Adrian gets a bold idea that's risky and sticks with it
This prediction may be a bit too bold since we haven't been able to see everything from Ricciardo due to his crash in Zandvoort, but I believe that Yuki will out score Daniel by the end of the 2024 season. Though Daniel has his years of experience on track and with the car, along with the motivation to fight hard for the redbull seat, I do think Yuki is at a point in his career where he is going to take off. If 2023 showed anything it's that he has been getting into a groove, with his consistent placements and the pace he has had to challenge for positions I think it will be enough to be ahead of his teamate. Regardless of the end result, I think he will provide a worthy challenge for Ricciardo.
Could be true. But I like both of them, and want both of them in F1. If it doesn't work out at RB, I see more options for the younger Yuki especially with Honda elsewhere on the grid, and I just want Ricciardo to do well again, seeing what he can do in RB with a different mindset. So I hope Ricciardo gets it so we keep both of them on the grid. But if Yuki performs really well this season, obviously he will deserve it. But I'm also scared about what the pressure will do to Yuki. He's gotten better, with a good race focus, makes less unnecessary mistakes, but we still saw some of the old Yuki halfway through the season after a good start and before a good end, so that aspect is not entirely out of him yet. And I'd like to see him prove the doubters wrong, because if he can get rid of his impatient mistakes in what is essentially nearly the RB19, he could have a great season.
So I'm pretty much torn between the two. Checo at RB seems over if he doesn't perform, but if he starts performing again without that huge slump he had last season, that'll complicate stuff. But he really has to perform if he wants to save his career.
I would love to see that happen but it's too early to call a winner outright. However, Yuki's got a good chance of an upset.
Love your videos! I have high hopes for the Williams team in 2024, in particular, for Logan Sareant.
Still sticking with Oscar to get a win before Lando.
@@LawVS I will too as long as there isn't some team drama around it. Like they are on different strategies yet Oscar refuses to give a place back. A team drama free win
no one other than sainz was getting p3 at AD21; the guy just attracts anonymous podiums 😂
Editing was top notch today! Love the evolution of content
As an Aussie I’m so damn excited to watch Oscar Piastri next season. Future is bright for this guy
Happy New Year Lawrence. May this year be one of joy, health and prosperity. Best regards.
Here we go:
1. Verstappen 4 time world champion, Red Bull take their 7th constructors championship
2. Ferrari and Mercedes will both be closer in pace to Red Bull but results won't be much better for either team due to the teams around them making improvements as well.
3. Hamilton ends his win drought at Spain and gets a win later in the season at the USGP. (Spain is round 10, the race after Canada).
4. Norris takes 1st career win at the British GP
5. Alonso first win since 2013
6. Sauber finish last in the constructors
7. Sargeant last in the drivers championship
8. Alpine drop to P7
9. Tsunoda finishes 10th in the WDC
10. Ricciardo doesn't get the Red Bull seat and gets fired.
Lewis is historically great at Spain so I wouldn’t be suprised if he wins in Hungary, Spain or Silverstone
One week later and one team principle is already fired. What kind of magic are you playing with Law?
I like this new thumbnail editing, I notice the subtle difference, makes me more intrigued. Overall nice predictions 👀
Mechanical reliability is so inherent now that I could see Max sailing along without a DNF.
I think tensions will rise between several team members with so many out of contract in 25. Alpine, McLaren, Merc and AT all have pairings that may get a bit testy with the need to show returns. AT could be very interesting with respect to development and seat promotion options to RB. Expect to see some heated words from Yuki as the pressure builds ..
McLaren has both drivers signed until the end of 2025. Hopefully that will keep emotions in check.
It's truly remarkable how reliable things are. Makes a DNF all the more spicy.
Dude, your impression of Verstappen was so good at 14:20 that i thought you used some software to mimic his voice 😂😂😂
I agree and like your predictions mate. I only find #2 and #7 a bit far fetched. Also #11 despite the fact I'm a huge fan of Daniel. I certainly hope you get it! 😁
If Mclaren can win I think it will be Piastri he is more consistent
I think it's too early to say he would win a Grand Prix - but it would be nice though!
Really? Bringing consistency as an argument against lando? From the last 11 sprints/races he finished 7 times on the podium and didn't finish worse than 5th.
My prediction is that Bottas will crush Zhou because looks like he really wants a seat next year. If he does so, the team will STILL probably replace him and zhou with nico and ocon, and one of the current sauber boys will go to haas, with the second seat being filled by Ollie bearman.
We shall see. Zhou is seemingly on thin ice with Sauber, the senior engineers pressing on him to make no mistakes.
@@LawVS I kind of believe they told Zhou that because of Theo (because if Zhou underperforms then Theo will start questioning the team). Also, I read somewhere than many team members didn't want Bottas too because of the lack of competition between the drivers (and something along the lines of they (Zhou and Bottas) agree too much)
Obviously for now all are rumors, but the 2024 season will be super vital for sauber

Why Guenther Haas To Go: ua-cam.com/video/_EjudT1OtTE/v-deo.html
It is genuinely uncanny how good a Max Verstappen impression you did at 14:11! Wow! So close to his cadence and tonality! Applause!
just watch as Max wins with 20+ seconds to second in 6-7 races this year
I'm very excited to see how the RB20 behaves, a lot of people are waiting for it to fail completely but I'll keep my high hopes. The whole situation with that second will be another drama I'll be watching with a lot of attention. Another great video as always Law! Can't wait to see which predictions come true by the end of the season.
I feel Adrian will go all out to ensure nobody can counter the team in this era...but he's incredibly stubborn and we can easily see an RB16 or MP4-18.
I’m a merc fan and I can say They dumb if they think that Spaceship won’t be fast 😭
I'm firmly on the side that the RB20 is not the same dominating car as '23. Max can't have another 100% reliable season, and we end up with 3 drivers in the title fight.
My main prediction for this is pretty bold from me: McLaren will win the constructors championship in 2024.
A podium for Hulkenberg due to some wacky circumstances. I mean we were this 🤏 close in 2023
I expect Piastri to win an F1 race before Lando Norris in 2024.
Yeah, Max didn't have any DNF's, but I believe all the other Hondas did have engine issues at least one time causing a mechanical DNF during the weekend.
My predictions are that Max will have a higher win percentage this season buts Red Bulls will be lower, and Logan will have a season similar to Schumacher where he doesn’t come to terms with the car until it’s too late to make any good points
Mine is LawVS is team Princaple/Manager for Haas
I'll show some of mine, 10 to be exact:
1- McLaren will win an odd number of races, and Piastri will win more than Norris.
2- Alonso will get half the podiums he got in 2023, at best.
3- Albon and Sargeant will lock out the second row in Qualy at least once.
4- Alpine will get a good array of fourth and fifth places, but no podiums.
5- Ferrari will end in 4th in the Constructors.
6- It will be Bottas's last season in F1.
7- Verstappen will win, at max, 8 races this year.
8- Ferrari will win only once, again, and it will be even more improbable than Schumi's wins in 1996.
9- Both Mercs will win at least one race, but what will keep them in the fight are the lots of podium finishes they'll get.
10- Not only Kmag will have a better 2024: he will outscore Hulk by the largest margin Haas will possibly give him.
These are some bold statement ! Max is definitely winning more than 8 Times
@@elviodesa8660 Maybe more than 8 times, but not more than 8 races (when I say races, I'm talking about feature races).
Great video
Happy New Year, fellow Ladder Heads! (Not sure if that’ll take off, but thought I’d try)
Interesting thoughts!
I remember a time that Max DNFíng due to mechanical failure wasn't a bold prediction. It was expected with that Renault engine in the back.
Ooo, this ought to be good, let’s see what’s cooking.
1. Well, it’ll be about time.
2. This will make me happy. I do want a strong team from my childhood to be strong again.
3. Well, that is indeed bold. Should it happen, I’m ok. Max already bagged 3 titles in a row, it’s time for someone or something to stop him.
4. 🎵 *REMEMBER ME! REMEMBER EVERYTHING WE USED TO BE! CAN YOU FEEL MY HEART POUNDING, POUNDING, LIVING FOREVER, WITH YOU! REMEMBER ME!* 🎵
5. Well, with the amount of 5 to 10 second time penalty Ocon gains regularly, that’s not that hard. Lol.
6. This could be good.
7. Repeat of number 6
8. Pronto, Charles? S🅱️innala.
9. If not, hey there is a Felipe crazy for a seat!
10. No! You need to leave!
11. Repeat of numbers 6 and 7
12. I mean, it is possible, but, personally, I want Merc and Lewis to not win. They’ve won too much already. But hey, that’s just me.
13. Press X to doubt.
14. Repeat of numbers 6, 7, and 11.
15. I’m sorry, who’s that guy again?
Well, let’s see how this will go.
I think this season has the potential to rival the best title battles this sport has seen and that includes the banger years of 2010 and 2012 where several drivers from multiple teams were in contention with more than one race win. Of course this potential hinges completely on the hope that Red Bull doesn't dunk another second and a half per lap on every other car on the grid.
But just imagine Max trying to fend off Lewis, Lando, Fernando, Charles, Carlos, and George who are all hungry for a title during the course of a season. How crazy would that be???
Thats far too many cars, nearly impossible but what could happen is one team will comfortably win and we will have a great battle for p2 in the constructors
@@greenfj1466 Well it's happened before so it'll never be out of the question for me. I just hope more than 1 team can fight for wins and a title.
I predict that, on Mercedes side, only Lewis would perform. George will be absolutely nowhere
I hope so. 2024 has got a lot more teams closer to Red Bull and with bigger plans and ambitions. It'll be shocking if we get a repeat of 2023.
Good on ya on making some bold ones! Everyone else is too safe
As a mclaren fan, watching silverstone 23 was gut wrenching, not bc I thought they could win but bc I knew they couldn't and I didn't want them to f**k it up/crash out
I will not cope with a whole season of that, idk what I'll do if there's a title fight
Yeah I thought that too. I was just tense the entire race to not see them fall backward.
It's so funny you say Audi are trying to hide themselves and my end of video advert was for an Audio e-tron 😂
Interesting stuff, but I don't think a lot will change
My predictions
Red Bull- Max wins the Champuonship & Checo will be replaced by Riccardo after the season.
Ferrari- Charles will win a couple of Races and Charles will finish P2 in the Standings & i think Sainz gets replaced by Albon in 2025.
Mercedes- The Drop to P4 in the constructor Standings.
McClaren- Lando finally gets his first win and the team fiinishes P3 in Constructors
Aston Martin- Alonso drags this team to P5 in the Constructors
Racing Bulls insert your name here, this is a cool spot- Riccardo outruns Checo in a few races, finishes P6 in the standings and Yuki gets P8 or P9 in the drivers, lastly the team finishes P6 in constructors. Liam Lawson takes Riccardo's spot in 2025 when he moves to Red Bull.
Stake Kick Sauber- they are the worst team and finish P10 in constructors, Zhou is replaced by Checo after the season.
Williams- they finish P8 in the standings, Sargent stays for 2025 & Mick Schumacher takes Albon's spot when he leaves for Ferrari & Williams will switch to Ferrari Engines
Haas- the improve to P9 in the Constructors, Hulkenburg leaves after the season and the Ollie guy takes Hulks spot for 2025.
Although I love redbull but I do believe we will see something like 2010 /2011 kind of a season next year I would love multiple teams for title decider
I like you. You are hilarious with your predictions.
As if Liam’s five races in 2023
Didn’t tell us he was good enough for F1???? He is!
I have the boldest of predictions.
There will be 10 different drivers winning a race in the 2024 season.
At the half way point of the 2024 season there will be 6 drivers, Verstappen, Sianz, Alonso, Hamilton, Russel and Norris in the fight for the WDC title.
Albon and Hulkenberg will both get their first wins.
Williams will finish P6 in the constructors championship but not a lot behind P5.
@@LawVS It would be an unforgettable season of this all came true. The only reason I think of that possibly happening is everyone has seen Redbull’s suspension set up of pull rod front and push rod rear working so good, the rest of the field can apply that set up to their own cars and it could bring the full potential out of all the cars. Also don’t forget Redbull took ideas from Williams for their floor as well which is why I think that Williams have a good chance of gaining in the constructors with a better suspension set up.
one of my predictions is that we will see 6 different race winners. 2012 part 2
Fun fact: failing crash test is a lot more common than you think. It just never made it to the news… not sure what makes this year different.
People are desperate for any sign of Red Bull weakness (there are no real signs of Red Bull weakness).
This guy’s got way too much confidence in Ferrari with those haas and leclerc predictions
10:00 I wouldn't be too surprised if Stroll practically repeats his 2023 season this year, I just don't think he can perform consistently across a season.
I would hope that he has been able to find a support network that can carry him through and he can have a better season and that the AMR24 doesn't fall off a cliff.
@@LawVS I hope so too, if he proves people wrong (including myself), that would be great!
The predictions went from how is going to be the next WC to will max DNF or if checo is going to win a race
Wishful thinking pretty early on in the year, with regards to some of the predictions 😂
I have five bold predictions:
1. I say McLaren gets 3 victories this year. 2 by Lando Norris and 1 by Oscar Piastri
2. Alonso got his first Pole since Germany 2012 and his first victory since Spain 2013.
3. Haas stays at the bottom and Hülkenberg leaves Haas for Stake F1 or Aston Martin.
4. Mercedes Finishes 4th in the constructor championship for the first time since 2012.
And 5. Max Verstappen wins the championship not before Race 21 or 22
My bold prediction is, Checo will kick off silly season with being told a non contract renewal, lawson will be announced, which will annoy Yuki who will arrange something with Alpine ( he has a good relationship with Pierre) to replace Ocon who will end up without a seat again. Dont know who will go Alpha Torro Red Bull junior rosso racing or whatever it is. I could see them having a reach for Doohan if Yuki goes Alpine.
Yes, that is my bold ass prediction.
As much as i want lewis to get #8, it wont happen but the merc will be better this year. The mclaren will also improve on last years form and ferrari will struggle but still be good at certain tracks. Those are my predictions, but the rb will massacre everyone.
I think Lewis will be happy with more podiums and a win as a sign of progress.
1. Norris signs for Red Bull In 2025
2 Magnussen will finish last in the championship and retire
3. Schumacher signs for AlphaTauri / Haas
4 Alpine will have their best year in f1
5 Bottas and Sainz will switch seats for 2025
6. Hamilton and Russell will fall out
7. Perez Signs for Williams
8. We will have 3 Red Flags in Azerbaijan
9. Lawson signs for Haas
10. Sauber will be a Midfield team
22 and 23 had all the potential to become a banger of a season except for red bull so i do have some hopes. But come on, Newey created the rb19 under such restrictions and he's gonna cook nect year as well
Of course, but if he pushes too far and development has to be given to dial things back, it could be telling.
My bold prediction is that the field will be way closer this year. Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren and Aston Martin will contend for wins, though I'm not sure they will all get a win
Agreed. It'll be really hard for Red Bull to streak away again as much as they did. They will be leaders but the rest will be closer from the start.
What a lucky coincidence that we got 2 Lawrence Barretto's in formula one!
The fact that you said Max would just settle in and be ok being 2nd in sprint races to Piastri is insane. Max doesn't like the Sprint Races, but nothing he has done in his career would indicate he is ok with being 2nd to anyone in anything.
I think a lot of the predictions are quite safe (not BOLD) like Logan being in the points twice versus once this year, Haas not being last, Danny Ric on a podium (when he could be in a Red Bull later in the season.
I meant that he would be smart if he had to REALLY hustle to be close to Oscar or someone else who isn't a rival in the championship.
Haas always can be more disappointing and pathetic. They'll give Sauber a run for worst team I'm sure.
Lance Stroll always does better under pressure. It is when he is not that his form slips. When Lance is in form he is actually quite good (3 podiums and one pole). The issue has been his inconsistency.
Hoping Lewis wins in Canada or Hungary. We will be attending both.
Maybe his support team are harnessing that energt and we might see more consistency.
@@LawVS I just don’t know why after so many years in F1 we would finally see his consistency emerge if it hasn’t emerged yet. I don’t question his talent. It’s his consistency that’s always been the question mark. He is good enough to win races when he is on form.
Sorry silly question. Why can’t a team keep their car from the year before? Are there car body changes that happen every year?
They can easily keep the car from the year before. There's no rules saying they can't. It's just standard practice. Ferrari and McLaren kept their car from last year back in the 2000s as work on their new cars led to delays...or in McLaren's case in 2003 not at all.
@@LawVS interesting. So I wonder why RB is working on a new car when last year’s car was such a 🚀. Not many races they didn’t win with a 15 second lead.
@@seen48They started work on the RB20 very early last year and have mostly wrapped up work on it. They've already started working on the RB21. If you are an F1 team you can't count on the opposition massively screwing up like happened to everyone except Red Bull at the start of this era. You push to the limit to hone your skills and to make sure you are the best you can be in case your competitors suddenly improve. Yes the RB19 was extremely fast compared to the other 2023 cars, but it was slower than even the slowest car from 2021. RBR have to try to get as close as they can to that earlier performance level.
Exciting and bold predictions, made before pre season testing, of course the same drivers driving for the same teams all developing at the same rate, the not very exciting prediction, same as 2023 …… I like your version better.
I REALLLLLLLLY HOPE McLaren win a race this year with Lando.
Gotta give a firm disagree to Hamilton winning a race. The W15 is supposedly a complete overhaul of the car, and with the further reduced cost cap in 2024, they will be extremely limited on their performance ceiling because upgrades will be few and far between.
I see what you mean which is why I reckon wins won't be on the cards until around the end of the summer break.
@@LawVS Honestly all depends on if they get the basic concept right and leave some open options for development. The other risk is Hamilton does another 2022 season spending too much time experimenting with setups to get a consistent feel of the car.
Mine:
- mclaren win (fanboy prediction)
- williams score atleast 1 podium
- stroll gets replaced by drugovich
I'm still working on my predictions for 2023.😂😂😂
Agreed, Norris gets a win. Now the question is where? I say Vegas or Monza.
My greatest hope is that Williams makes a huge leap forward, while Mercedes falls farther into the midfield. I'd love to see Alex Albon get his first win, and finish well ahead of both Mercedes drivers in the driver standings.
I reckon they will make progress. The days of Williams being last by default are over.
Thats a brave bet on Stroll, with potentially 10 cars fighting for podiums and Stroll being the weakest of those 10 drivers it's going to take a race as crazy as Baku 2017 to get it.
I see where you're coming from. But I hope that he got a support structure after Qatar's drubbing.
@@LawVS The problem with Stroll is that he's wildly inconsistent. He showed in the last few races of last year that he can operate at a level close enough to Alonso to be a valuable No 2 at a team, but after 7 years I have no doubts anymore that he's not able to do so on the regular.
Respect for Stroll bro
I believe in him
I think he’ll show smth
You must not know Binnotto if you’d think he’d go to Haas. He could also definitely get a technical principle job somewhere else. Sauber tried to hire him.
It's plausible, but I reckon Binotto has a chance at Haas as a background employee with his friend Guenther.
Haas is a complete joke of a team and not even in the tragicomedy sense of Ferrari under Binotto. There is no way he's going to work for those no hopers.
@@wiegraf9009 Yup. If he laughed at Sauber, imagine Haas. Besides, it’d be sort of reputational suicide to go to Haas. LawVS takes are generally sensible, but this one? It’d be like going from Coca-Cola CEO to RC Cola.
Watch out dude in the Attic. There’s a ghost behind you
Looking forward how many of your 2024 predictions are coming true. They look so intetesting 👀
Honestly what i want to see the most is Tsunoda in redbull at least for 2 season, he's proven himself in AT, although he is a bit feisty on track he still pretty much a team player, during those 2 season he'll score few 2nd and 3rd and maybe cheeky 1st once or twice, i just want that dinosaur to give him a chance
Being Max's teammate is a huge ask. It breaks drivers. Yuki is very good but I don't think he's that good. I think the best outcome for him is to go to AMR once they switch to Honda engines. Hopefully Aston will keep improving.
I’d love to see your crystal ball 😂😂😂
If they would just do a reverse points grid for sprints, Logan can race for points 6X
Entertaining as usual.
Audi - I expect they will be (yet) another manufacturer to leave Sauber in the lurch. Instead of taking the opportunity to quietly get ahead of the game I agree they are just waiting to roll in as the saviours of the team and... what? Expect to be 'winners' simply because of who they are? I predict two or three years of abject failure and their deluded management and marketing department will want out of F1 ASAP.
Me when LawVS says AlphaTauri instead of 'insert your name here, RacingBulls, insert your name here' 🤨
I'm still not on board the Lando train. He still has work to do to handle the pressure. If the McLaren is the absolute fastest car on the grid Lando can get a few wins but if it is only similar pace to the other top teams I'm not so sure he can come out on top. Then if Piastri can challenge him it will be more pressure and he may push too hard. Russell could be in a similar situation. If Hamilton is consistently faster again this year George may start to make a lot of mistakes.
I would like to see how he does with the car solidly under him. Maybe that might compound his potential.
Well you already got prediction number 15 correct lol! Steiner has been replaced.
Newey is doing that because he’s a perfectionist. Not because the RBR is running out of ceiling IMO. By the way does anyone like Ocon?
I actually predict that Logan will do better this year at least in terms of not binning in because I think Williams will shift the car away from being so snappy and focus more on stability this year. We also have seen in lower championships it takes time for him to adapt.
Yep, it's up to Williams to make a car which allows Alex to not have to defend all the time to maintain position and for Logan to not drive to the ragged edge and bin it.
@@LawVSdefinitely James Vowls knows what Williams needs and clearly trusts Logan to improve and get closer to Albion. I just hope they don’t do a gap year at least in 2024 because I don’t think doing a gap year only 2 years before a R&D change would be a good idea.
Williams’s car will have a lot more downforce so it should be more stable and easier to drive.
At the same time, it’s also going to be the first car fully designed under Vowles’ direction since he didn’t start last year until mid-February along with new head of aero Pat Fry, so it’ll be interesting to see how they go from here.
