It wasn't talked about, but prayers for Maycee Barber. A 9 day stay in the hospital is crazy. Heck, after surgery a person is usually released in a day or two. Prayers that she recovers well.
if jones fought tom and beat him you guys would start saying that tom wasn't that good in the first place.....that's exactly what happened when jones beat cyril gane........first you guys were saying cryil was good and the next big thing and then when jones beat him it was said that he wasn't that good anyway...... so with this in mind i guess fighting stipe would make the most sense for jones.
i wouldn't look past stipe though i still think he's got it in him. the guys a fireman i wouldn't doubt this guys ability one bit....................he has to run into burning buildings...,,,surely a fight doesn't get him frazzled
I agree with your first part but Stipe is washed. His only path to beat Jones is by KO. Stipe is just another Gustufsson with less tools.

If they take a point away from Chris Weidman for his third eye gouge in the third round and he loses that round it would have ended up a draw
If Jones beats Aspinall, it proves there's NOBODY that really stands a chance to take JJs crown as the GOAT. He beats Miocic and he retires a legend who was already out the door anyways. Do the MMA math and you'll see the obvious choice. But JJ wants the bag on his way out and thats his ONLY motivation....not proving he's better than 3 diff generations of fighters.
Jones deserves the stipe fight and rides off in the sunset.

Tom got the interim belt, he technically deserves to fight the champ whenever he returns from his “injury”, that’s the whole point of the interim belt, jones should fight Tom or drop the belt and just retire already, he’s holding the whole division up
Who wants to fight tom for the interm belt, cuz i always thought whoever has the interm belt should be next for the real title. But somehow jones can justify why the interm champ doesn't deserve it 🤷♂️

UFC shouldn't have offered Aspinall an interim title if they never intended to unify the belt. Tom should fight Stipe.
