I can't even call this one a lighting comparison lol. Sega really made a perfectly good PV and proceed to not port it to Future Tone...

Yeah I think the original would win 💀 Diva X has pretty boring PVs.
Future tone ain't shit compared to f2nd
I agree, F 2nd was really where Project Diva peaked
They could’ve made future tone better with the updated F2nd PVs 😭
I hate how boring the charts are in F2nd now compared to future tone.
I really wished they've included this PV version in the Future Tone, as an alternative, like what they did with Senbonzakura

I feel like sega cared less and less about the quality of the PVs trough out the years, we went from beautiful and colorful PVs in F2nd to some PVs with less effects, particles and sometimes almost absent lightening :(
It's the other way around. The original PV has been ported from PSP to Arcade/DT in around 2010. F2nd's was 2014.
I don't think SEGA cared "less" given how cool Sekai's PV's art despite being in a gacha game.

@@Pluvillion the problem is that they care less and less about the original series sekai is a spin off of. They just don't give a shit about the original series of project diva anymore. From f2nd, with amazingly animated pvs with the chance time succession effects to boring bland to FT which just uses the same pvs from dreamy theater with a few select pvs from F and a few graphical enhancements, mostly in the lighting and shading area, to X where it's just them performing on stage to 2d sprite audiences, a lack of songs, and a gimmicky transformation effect that has the same animation for every outfit of the same category.
@@Scyclo the FT is a home edition of the Arcade. so they use the arcade maps and PVs. but the Diva X dropped the chance time events and the PVs is only dancing on stage and don't have the story telling factor that some ƒ2nd have, like Kagerou.
@@JeanSamyr yes I'm aware ft is a port of arcade ft. They're the same game though which is why I keep them under the same umbrella. Just like how mega mix is a port of FT it is also the same game as ft and aft
You think the update in MegaMix would be an upgrade to it all...
And I'm also glad that they changed the moves in F2nd because the dancing in FT is just... awkward.
Those movements in FT was actually way back in the first two DIVA games on the PSP
Normal FT uses PSP PV version, just so you know

Btw do you think it could be possible to do this even with other PVs that are in MM+ but aren't in F2nd ? Like just ”import de light effects” etc

Which PV do you mean by this? I just realized the whole situation with this song having two completely different PVs and it seems FT straight up doesn’t have one of them
