Hey all, just about a year later and the channel has grown so much! I started uploading videos as a little thing for myself, but y’all have enjoyed a lot of them, and that means a lot! Thank you for 123 subs, that’s actually wild. Everyone here is amazing ❤️❤️
Fr it honestly reminds me of the days back in 6th grade on spring break when I'll sit with my siblings at dawn watching Cory play this game. It was such a beautiful memory that I wish to relive until I die and beyond
This reminds me of the good memories from grade 6 with my old 2 friends we would do so many things at our middle school but now we’re all grown up and in high school I’m literally crying right now
I feel like he never turned evil, we just misunderstood what was happening, and thought he was kidnapping someone even though something being trapped in the basement was a metaphor for him trapping his grief over his family's death, never letting go. However, in the end, he released his guilt, which resulted in him instead being trapped by it. The shadow boy is the metaphorical manifestation of his released guilt metaphorically trapping him in his own loop with no way out. This is why in the ending which took place in the void, the shadow boy was blocking the exit. When he saw us come closer to him, he begged for help, only to realize that doing so would release more grief and guilt of what he's done to you, thus making the shadow monster stronger and end up metaphorically consuming him whole. this is also shown by the house on his back metaphorically representing the guilt of his failure to save his entire family weighing him down forever. Because of this, he just stood there, accepted his fate, and moved on to a new beginning. Although, he only realized this mistake in the true ending of Hello Neighbor 2 alpha 1.5, where we saw him banging on the door for help, as the shadow boy completely consumed him. I think this story will be clarified in the later version of Hello Neighbor 2. but hey... what do I know? After all, that's just my theory... MY GAME THEORY
this soundtrack reminds me of my childhood, all the moments of watching and creating theory with hello neighbor, i want to go back to my childhood but it's impossible, i feel with this music just fine
the art style from the early alphas is from the 60s-70s, however the furniture the neighbor has laying around his house is from the 20s-30s-40s. Reminder that im only talking about the early alphas and not the actual cannon universe which takes place in the 90s-2000s
Hey everyone, if you get any enjoyment out of this video, please consider subscribing. It would help me out a lot! Also, thanks for the support on this video, I didn’t think it would do so well. Might be making a slowed+reverb version if anyone wants it.
I’ve been missing hello neighbor recently. The lack of news has just left me empty. I miss when hello neighbor was at its peak and was getting constant updates, news, and when the hype was real. I’m still a fan, so I get pretty excited when news drops. But everyone else seems to have forgotten about this franchise. It’s taken too many hits. Especially with the disappointing launch of HN2. Even though HN2 has improved significantly since then. I hope one day we will get a remake or something of the original game. I miss early HN
I have a theory about hello neighbors beta game, with the acts and stuff. The kid you play in act one could be the person you play as in act 3's child. They BOTH live in that house. The one screaming in the neighbors house could be the player in act 3's child screaming because he got grabbed. And there was a reason why the adult player went to the basement, he wanted to save his son. Also, the crash in the secret roller coaster ride act 2, could be referring to when the neighbor's son pushed his sister off of something like in hello neighbor hide and seek. Also this is my theory w-

@@neongenesisbro this is the best
this and the ambience combined just...feels good.
That's why I think the alphas are better than the final Hello Neighbor. They are way more calm and ambient.
@@neongenesisbro the soundtrack is more subtle and calm too, despite the occasional horror aesthetic the game has.
this theme brings me pure joy. every time I listen to this theme I remember all the great memories I spend with this game and the memories of 2016-17

as someone who left the fandom in 2017 then joined again last year, this song is so nostalgic
