We all know that the Novus Ordo is dreadful, but I don't understand your beef with the 1962 Missale Romanum. I'd consider it our last organic missal in continuity with tradition in the Latin Church.

When the Malankara Orthodox Church was afraid it would loose the Vatti Panam Case and thereby loose all the money they decide to initiate a communion with Rome. But when they won the case they decided to stick with their worldly desires of money. This is precisely why the Malankara Jacobites and the Malankara Orthodox split. Besides singing the same songs from the Liturgy of St. James does not make anybody a copier of anybody.

I should say. This sure beats the boring Latin 1962 Mass and most Novus Ordo masses I"ve seen.

They were Originally Orthodox but came into union with rome.
