I definitely agree that the last level is the most important for human being, but also as you said you can't move up the ladder until you satisfied the bottom levels otherwise as you say you will keep reverting your focus to them without achieving your full potential.

I never hear about this theory, but without knowing it I am already working on the last two levels :) sometimes is better to do it without knowing the theory than to know all the theory in the world, but never put it into practice.
