I have hogwarts legacy on switch but I also wanted it for ps5 so I got that to play too. Seems dumb when I already have it but ps5 is way better graphics and has exclusive content that switch edition just doesn't have. And the game was 50% off for boxing day so decided to get it. I'm unsure what other games I should try, any recommendations?

Yes, everything is the same including the software and user interface only thing that changed is storage as far as I aware of. There might be some very minor stuff that changed but I think almost everything is the same in the user interface.
You guys still have the chance to go for the 1200 cfi 1216a to be honest I use that and it's the best till now no issue at all smooth as a girl 😉 nothing beats Sony when it comes to gaming rest of the gaming consoles are jokes
Quick note for customize the quick menu, I think PS5 changed something, there is even an indication now when you're on it, it's not longer click PS button a second time, it's Customize hamburger menu to customize the order
I've set an option that all games that load by default target Performance Mode, also I have the Microphone option set to Headset by default and off Controller. All my games by default install to my SSD instead of my console. I create folders in my game library for Story Games, Shooters, Sports, PS Portal, Platinum Games etc. Also hide games from my trophy list that I have no platinumed to keep my trophy list clean and delete games that are at 0 trophy percent 😅

Does the PS5 handle higher speeds than the PS4? Because I have 800 megs speed and I don't get anywhere near that on my PS4 and it's plugged in you using an Ethernet cable.

Got it from GameStop In damn I downloaded GTA online , red redemption 2 , battlefield 2042 , drying light 2 , assassin's Creed Valhalla & battlefront 2 ! It was all done within one hour , I was truly impressive.. The load to to open GTA , dying light 2 was less then 5 min ! While being silent.

Supposedly the liquid metal on the inside is suppose to leak but I haven't had any issues with mine.

It's a bit louder after doing my tests but overall still a great console!

I mean if he's comfortable docking his Nintendo Switch when it's docked playing on 1080p then I say keep what he has...but if he wants better graphics then the PS5 would be a good option for him to get...but it depends on what he likes. Is he comfortable with the graphics on the NS...or does he prefer better graphics and way more functionality.
