Just get a Bluetooth FM transmitter
I bought a model with an auxiliary port and Bluetooth already. It also has a USB port and 25 GB on board storage for media.
Don't bother with this adapter, get a second hand or cheap head unit by a reputable brand and you'll transform it's system and add all sorts of features. The factory speakers are big for the size of the car, and had to be artificially restricted by the head unit to help sell the HK upgrade. This means it responds to a head unit upgrade on factory speakers better than any other car I've known.
Hi, can you please explain further and tell me the exact Items I should get. Thank you 👍🏾
Cannot for the life of me figure out how to pry the drivers side knee panel down. Need this in order to access the upper drivers side bolt holding the left pillar. Any suggestions??
how do you activate the auxiliary??
It should work right away after plugging it in however it doesn't work on the 02' radio. I have done it on an 02' mini before by just upgrading the radio to an 03'-08 radio first. They are pretty cheap on eBay and you still keep that factory look.
@@ifly891 does an 04 one work?
@@ifly891 I have 2003 mini but i dont know when is the radio built it hase tape casete no disc... ?
I did this to my facelift r50 and now the aux option in my radio went missing leaving me with cd and fm only ):
Way late but look at bluetooth fm transmitters, work great in my r52 and it just pops into your cigarette lighter.
Just tried this and my radio won’t recognise the aux, any suggestions? The input fits into the back correctly just not recognised
What year is the mini? It doesn't work on the 02' radio. I have done it on an 02' mini before by just upgrading the radio to an 03'-08 radio first. They are pretty cheap on eBay and you still keep that factory look.
Just buy a bluetooth connector it’s only 20€ and i works perfectly you just put it in the 12v thing
Buy a usb bluetooth you plug it into the cigarette outlet and pick a radio station and its on
Where is the mic for the bluetooth? man u need some narration
It is an auxiliary input and you can plug in a Bluetooth adapter to allow you to have Bluetooth with the stock radio.
@@ifly891 ah, that sucks. thanks
@@melcooper7811 yeah, they are really pretty cheap. This is the one I use www.amazon.com/dp/B075JBLGLB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_74atFb906FDWF
PLEASE HELP ME! Anyone knows if the Bluetooth is connected to the Radio or part of the Radio System? The Bluetooth is giving me mad headaches. YES, you heard it correctly, it's giving me MAD headaches. I just want to remove it and if anyone knows it is part of the radio? If it is, I can get rid of the radio and YES I DO NOT mind. I'd rather have headaches free, I can live WITHOUT a radio. THANK YOU !!!!
What is or was wrong with the Bluetooth? Did you mean the original factory Bluetooth that came with the car?
