Yes! I love her earrings!
And they're bi pride colors!
They're adorable! They are also macarons, not macaroons (although, apparently sometimes Americans refer to them as 'French Macaroons'?). Macarons are made with almond meal and egg white and are sandwiched together. Macaroons are made with shredded coconut, usually in a mound shape.

Personally, I like the longer ones way more. Especially on the days that I’m doing my own makeup. I adore playing the videos and leaning my phone against my mirror to watch them while I do my makeup

I feel like for the length of UA-cam videos it depends what I’m looking for. If I’m looking for information I want it shorter and to the point, but if I’m looking to be entertained I do prefer longer videos. So I think variety is key! Especially so the audience has options.
The full face using only highlighters was the first NikkieTutorials video I ever watched - can’t believe it’s been 5 years already!!

I like the longer more detailed ones. Especially if someone’s trying to learn make up from absolutely base level 0 knowledge. Explain what it’s for. Tips for doing a,b,c etc

Anyone who didn't have the biggest makeup budget, has done this. 😂😂😂 I used an eye shadow for: contour, highlight, color corrector, lip tint/lip stick, blush, mascara and eye liner. If it works, it works!

@@emiliaalvarado16 You get a damp mascara brush and rub it in black eye shadow. Lol. If I wanted to lengthen my lashes too, I just put a little vaseline on the brush! 😂 Oh, the days.
Girl I even use eyeshadow as a powder foundation 💀💀💀
@@Indiegirl007 I just had an idea maybe it would work for you, mix black eyeshadow with foundation or concealer and use that as mascara? Cause then it would dry down and stay longer maybe. Idk
There’s very few beauty youtubers that I want to watch for an extended period of time. But Niki, I would watch you for 40 minutes! I really enjoy hearing what you have to say and you’re very laid back compared to some of the excessive high energy UA-camrs out there! I also really enjoy watching you take your time with your full routine 😊

Nikkie was the person who taught me the most about makeup, and there’s one thing she did I’ll always remember. She would use the NYX single eyeshadow in taupe to contour! I had the tartelette 2 palette at the time and learned how to contour with that...I loved it and that was my basis for years! Makeup can definitely be multipurpose 🥰
Nyx makes a blush in taupe these days and it’s the perfect contour shade for pale skin

I prefer longer videos in general, but when it comes to makeup videos I have two specific reasons for preferring longer ones. 1. I find makeup videos extremely relaxing. 2. If someone is watching them to learn something about makeup then longer ones allow for more detail which might help them. Btw, love the earrings and you are so stunning!❤

Congratulations Nikki, for one of the most legit Aussie accents ever spoken by a foreigner, most Aussies cringe when foreigners attempt it with the usual "Dingo got my baby" or the "Throw a shrimp on the barbie" lines, but you sounded like a local, is there anything you can't do? I like the longer videos! I often don't have time to actually sit and completely focus on a video, so having it going in the background while I'm doing chores/getting ready is really nice!
I like longer videos especially if there’s always something being talked about I like to listen to them while I work! I would love to see more of each step of your routine!
The movie about my life would definitely be titled ‘Well what were you expecting?’ and Rebel Wilson would definitely take the lead.
Also, for me personally 15 to 20 minute videos are perfect! That way I can watch a video during my break or before bed without feeling guilty about watching way too long and ruining my sleep schedule.

I'VE DONE THIS TOO! Kind of, I use a skin tone eyeshadow to spot cover any major redness and I have used black eyeshadow as makeshift mascara, to make my lashes appear darker. And I have used eyeshadow as lipstick, or at least lip tint. You are the best GlowQueen. Hugs to you.💕💕💕

I do like makeup UA-cam videos that are longer, especially if it’s like an in-depth tutorial (I love the the aesthetic) or a story time. It’s very therapeutic to watch.

I think UA-cam is a great medium for video length, we’ve got twitch to watch super long videos, tiktok for short videos and then UA-cam mostly medium length videos so I think it’s great to have long-ish videos on here because that’s why I came to UA-cam
I always use eyeshadow as highlighter haha, there’s a perfect shade in my favourite palette.
I love videos 20-30 minutes long bc I listen/watch while I do my skin care and thats about how long it takes me to do it ❤
I love longer videos! I play them while I get ready but I also enjoy watching 15-25 min videos
I think when it’s something I need to WATCH like a makeup tutorial or challenge, I’d rather the video be shorter, but when it’s something I only need audio for, something I can play in the background while working, I love those to be as long as possible!
