- This old dbz game is impossible to complete, or at least thats how it seems! Will I be able to overcome the struggles of playing through infinite worlds campaign on the hardest difficulty or will the impossible majin vegeta boss fight stop me before I can even reach majin buu!?

And the best part about that comment is that the opposite is true for Videl. For Gohan at least, she's probably one of the hardest women to avoid.
If there's 1 thing I've seen that has always been consistIent in Dragon Ball games, it's that Kid Buu ALWAYS sucks to fight. Still have nightmares of Budokai Tenkaichi 3 where he'd legit spam Mystic Combination.

No joke, 8 year old me was terrified of Kid Buu, it took me about 5 tries to beat him on easy mode alone lol
I think the Mystic Combination spam was in Tenkaichi 2
I know he still has the move in 3 but I think 2 actually had the AI programmed to spam it in story mode

Just a little tip Doto.
For each Ki bar pass the baseline (The 4 big bar) you get 2% damage increase, and at max Ki you get extra 4% more damage.
Contrary, for each Ki below the base line you get 2% def decrease. So preserving Ki and using Taunt (It decreases 1 Ki bar of your opponent) is a trick in this game.

It’s almost been 15 years since the release and I’ve never heard of these mechanics
If you play in practice mode you can see the percentage increase (it’s been in all the PS2 Budokai / Infinite World games) that’s also why transformations are more than just cosmetic

Budokai 2 was my favorite of the trilogy I've beaten that story mode so many times and I've never been able to brag about it until this very moment

Congrats for defeating Majin Vegeta in one video! It took me an entire year, and i won because i was spaming the dash hit that stun the oponent and combo it with the Dragon Fist Special that you are not using. It's like the Super Kamehameha from Gohan.
Also, using Gohan after using Goku for such a long time felt really good.
Love the content Doto. love watching the channel evolve over the years, been here since day 1.

FYI Gohan’s outfit during the Dabura fight is a new addition for this game. In Budokai 3 (the previous game) Gohan only had two costumes, purple gi and orange gi

I remember doing that mission and Super Buu glitched during his Absorption animation and just kept looking around… I never raged so hard in my life.

Random semi-related note: When I was younger, I didn't know Majin Vegeta was the result of Vegeta getting "controlled." This is primarily due to my knowledge of the Buu Saga being solely from skipping through Budokai 3's cutscenes(because to my kid self, memorizing the story was my older brother's job - I also wasn't super into Dragon Ball back than aside from fighting as Broly and Gohan). I thought he just borrowed some power from Babidi to fight Goku, and I also thought it was his equivalent to SSJ3 that he unlocked from borrowing said power - explaining why he jumps straight to 4 afterwards. I also thought his Final Explosion was the way it was because he would do anything to win against Goku, including damaging his own body.
And yes, I thought he used Final Explosion against Goku(probably because the AI landed it on me during the Goku story or something).

It turns out you might just not be good with Goku; all your Gohan fights went so much better (ignoring that first race against Goten of course).
9:40 - It is super disappointing that the CPU using Final Explosion didn't give you the win (it truly would have been one of the greatest victories) but at least the reaction to it was hilarious.

Wow I've never played infinite world over all these years. I thought I got all of the games played. I never did cuz I thought it was an exact of Budokai 3. Gotta dig out my old PlayStation now and hit eBay
Ngl, So much of this game was hard and I was stuck for a long time, but don't even get me started on omega Shenron in this game, he will make you question what is possible and if this entire journey was futile and rigged from the start
