Vero! Deve essere una cosa molto coraggiosa stabilirsi in un paese con una burocrazia pachidermica e inefficiente e abitata da un popolo (gli italiani) atavicamente incapaci di governare il loro stesso paese (l'Italia)!
Such a clever and courageous woman. Seems she really achieved the lifestyle she wanted. A beautiful place. I am very fond of Toscany and Umbria. But I was a lot around in Emilia Romagna when i was young. Many great places there too!👍❤💚 Greetings from Scandinavia.
Jill era tutt'altra che ricca! Il marito le ha svuotato il conto bancario, l'unica fortuna fu che aveva la casa (da ristrutturare, e ha riciclato e fatto tutto da sola) e la terra.
Very good interview, very honest and revealing with some great scenery as a backdrop. I wholly agree with most of the other comments that this lady is amazing. Bravo Jill, you are a totally inspiring person.😘
what an inspiration, and what a lovely character. i'm planning to move to Italy in 2025 to do something similar but will be based (somewhere) in the south to avail myself of the 7% TAX on foreign income. watching this video has given me hope, thank you!
I'm an American, so I had a hard time understanding parts of that. But I think it was Churchill that said about Americans, "English is the language that divides us." I got the idea though that this woman has made a go of it on her own and is doing well enough and is happy and content with herself.
I agree, immigrants. But expats is a commonly used term amongst English speaking Emigrants wherever they move to. And anyhow both groups are just people who moved in search of a better life, somewhere other than there original country. Thank you for watching
I've been thinking about this for a while, and I think the subtle difference is this : an expat is someone who chooses to leave their own country spurred by a real desire to live in the new place they are going to, whereas an immigrant is more a person who has to move from their own country to try to better their circumstances.
Brilliant woman what a life through hard work dedication and belief! Wow what a role model❤️
Yes she has worked extremely hard. Hats off to her! Thank you for watching
Exceptionally courageous competent woman ! Also a strong advert for Emilia Romagna.
She is unique! Thank you for watching

The area around there is spectacular!
You are right when you say ,that the Italian people don't know how precious are the place where they live in Italy!

It's impossible don't fall in love with Emilian food, it would make anyone fall in love. Ciao Michelle, to the next video.
Ciao!! Food capital of Italy, love it
La Romagna è rinomata per la cordialità della popolazione 🙂
Si, sono veramente ospitali e simpatici. Si mangia da dio poi! Io non conoscevo quei monti. Bellissimi paesaggi.
@@realexpatslivinginitaly immagino sia l'Appennino. Nemmeno io conosco questi luoghi, ma ne parlano molto bene.
Si l'Appennino
Immigrants not expats, when we go to your country we’re immigrants but when you come to mine you’re expats ????? lol 😂
