It’s funny how important it is for a customer to really like the sales person to get extra sales. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought a product from a small business sales rep and without the rep I would never buy any of it but because I just really like the sales person I buy lol. I’m not a Mary Kay rep and I’ve never been in sales but I do get curious how these salespeople are good at what they do. Hence watching this 😂 I remember one sales lady knocking on my door selling an all purpose cleaner. She talked and talked about the product how absolutely incredible it is and cleans anything and everything yata yata. I was more impressed with her than her product but she offered to clean “something” to demonstrate. I didn’t want her in my house so I pointed to my cement porch steps and saw some paint dots from when we painted the house a few months ago. She sprayed her spray on it and I was shocked it cleaned dried paint. I bought the $25 bottle. Told my dad about it later and he laughed saying it’s pretty generic ingredients and I can get a similar product at the dollar store 😂 I didn’t care. I liked her and it was worth it. Not implying at all Mary Kay products aren’t good. Just an example of how much the sales person effects sales.
I was trained to do Color at the 2nd booking. by the time you finish do the skin care class. People start to get bored, it to much information at once. You have to realize that an average person has about 18 minutes of actually Attention span.
